Flexible and convenient departure from Nairobi: We will pick you up at the airport, your hotel, or your residence in our comfortable and private 4x4 Jeep Land Cruiser.
Private guide/driver is English speaking or another language upon request. Enroute enjoy local farming communities and herds men, pausing to enjoy dramatic views of the Great Rift Valley.
All-inclusive. Your 4-day Maasai mara safari includes park entrance fees, game drives, accommodations, and meals.
You can custom tailor the cost of your safari, depending on your choice of season, the number of travellers in your party, and your pick of accommodation. Depending on your style/budget, choose from luxury, comfort, budget safari lodges or tented camps.
Importantly, irrespective of whatever level of accommodation you choose your actual safari adventure with us will always be at our highest standards.
For your safari with us, you'll be guided, hosted and looked after by your own experienced driver/guide.

Early in the morning, 0800hrs you will be picked up in Nairobi by the driver/guide and provide a briefing on your safari before we depart for Maasai Mara. Enjoy a scenic drive down into the Rift Valley, to Masai Mara, Kenya's premier game reserve. You will be in your own private safari vehicle. Stop briefly en-route at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for stunning views of what is the world's largest valley. Arrive at Masai Mara for lunch. The afternoon game-drive at 3:30 pm allows spotting of the unrivaled wildlife in the park. Return to your lodge by 6:30 pm.

Full day in Masai Mara. You enjoy two game-drives today, one in the morning at 6:15 am, before breakfast and the other in the late afternoon after lunch. As your safari is private your game-drive timings are flexible, useful if you are travelling with children, or are on a honeymoon. You may also choose to have a full day game-drive [one for the whole day] with a packed picnic lunch. Return is in the evening for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Spend the full day (or have morning and afternoon game-drives at your pleasure we are flexible), exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. You will have picnic lunches as you do the game drives. There are lots of resident Hippos and crocodiles sited at the banks of Mara River. Optional: In the evening, Visit the local Masai village for a Masai cultural tour at USD20. Learn about the Masai community and interact with the local Masai people. An overnight at the Masai village can be organized upon request. A balloon safari at can be organized early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.

5.00We chose Masai Mara for 3 nights which is the most amazing place for the wildlife. Our Tour …run by Rustic Nature Tours. We chose them as they were sure we would see the Wildebeest migration, that's was spectacular! We saw just about every wild animal too, including a Lion feast, hyenas, giraffes & elephants as well as deer of several kinds, monkeys etc Our accommodation was spotless & the food was plentiful with lots of choice. A laundry service & all toiletries included. Towels for the Pool too. Breakfast outside on safari is perfect with chairs, food & drink. We stop at spotless washrooms along the way so no problems there either! Knowledgeable driver Lucas & Guide Kelvin both trained at College to answer all your questions, and provide their vast knowledge of their beloved Africa.

Warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, he made the entire safari experience unforgettable. From the moment we met, I felt completely at ease and knew I was in good hands. He went above and beyond to make sure I had the best time—spotting animals, sharing insights, and making every moment fun and meaningful. I couldn’t recommend him more highly. 5.00I booked this trip last minute after spending a day with Kelvin at the Giraffe Centre and Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. It was one of the highlights of my time in Kenya. Kelvin was a delight to chat with as we made our way to the Mara. While there, he showed that he knew the park like the back of his hand. We did five game drives and every time it was a great adventure. Seeing so many lions and cheetahs was amazing, as well as many elephants, giraffes, zebras, etc. We even had a coffee break near four sleeping lions under a tree. That was really special. I look forward to returning to Kenya and exploring other parks with Kelvin. Even though I went solo, he and his friend and wildlife photographer, Ntaiyia, never made me feel like I was alone. I had such a great time with these guys. Both were the utmost professional and I look forward to seeing them again.

5.00We had an AMAZING time in Maasai Mara seeing about 20 lions (adults and cubs) up close eating kills, mating, and chasing hyenas. Also many elephants, giraffes, hippos, and etc. We traveled in April, so did not experience the great migration but was much less crowded with other vehicles. We were traveling with very limited time but had a friend who lives in Nairobi who highly recommended a tour guide, KELVIN. He worked tirelessly to accommodate our tight schedule with very long days, driving us from Nairobi. Because of his hard work, knowledge, and years of experience, we were able to see everything that we wanted to on our honeymoon!
Don’t waste your life! Do this tour!

5.00Kelvin arranged everything and took care of every detail! He was very attentive to our needs and our infants. I have been very fortunate to do tours on several continents….this was by far THE BEST! In a single morning I saw: Cheetah Leopard Impala Lions 3 female / 2 male Warthog Beautiful Lilly pads Grass high as top of van door Impala 3 small herds of elephants Water buffalo ("lion killers") Plains Zebra Stork Ostrich Tomis Gazelle Grand gazelle The lilac-breasted roller (national bird) Giraffe Hyena ….and I’m sure I missed a few in my list. This was in January, so not even peak season! I spoke to another person who did 11 days with another company…they didn’t see a fraction of what we saw. I highly will recommend Kelvin and Rustic Nature Tours to everyone! A truly unforgettable experience <3
