Forbidden City-The Palace Museum

The Forbidden City was an imperial palace for the Ming and the Qing Dynasties,was first built in 1420 during the Ming Dynasty.It is the largest、best preserved palace complex remaining in the world today.Altogether there are 24 emperors who lived and conducted state affairs in the Forbidden City.(Notice:Please book it one week earlier.The Forbidden City has limit tickets everyday otherwise they will be sold out ahead of time.)

My boyfriend and I had a 4 hours guided tour with our guide Tom in the Forbidden City and Tianmen square today. Tom showed us all the most meaningful spots of the square and of the city and promptly aswered to our questions and curiosity. I'm very satisfied with the experience and we strongly recommend it to everyone who is interested in knowing more about Chinese history and culture. The tour was pleasant and not heavy, the information were easy to understand and clear. Additionally, Linda played an important role for the organisation of our tour: she took care of keeping us in touch with Tom the day before the guide so that everything could have proceeded smoothly. Vote 10/10.

Linda is a very knowledgeable, friendly and experienced guide. She helped us get into the Forbidden Palace and Tiananmen very smoothly despite the long lines, answered all of our questions well and was very on schedule for the tour. Our time in the Forbidden Palace was great all thanks to Linda! 😊🙏

Very friendly tour guide (private tour). Took an extra hour to make sure that I would find the best souvenir gifts for family and find a cab that would safely take me back to the hotel.

Lina was very friendly and helpful. We had a very happy and beautiful day together in the Forbidden City. For us it was very pleasant that we did not have to search for where which entrance and where which control is. We had Tiananmen Square, forbidden city and temple of heaven tour. Our guide was Linda. She was one the best guide and sweetest people we met. She helped us everywhere, she even helped us by guiding us at the railway station and helping us to get to our train. If you book a guide be sure to choose linda.
