  I did two tours with Sofia. As a tour guide I went looking for a sole independent guide. After some searching I found Sofia. She is an excellent guide with tremendous knowledge, which she only dipped into but you know she knows. She tour me on a great highlights tour of Seville taking in some personal favourites too. I really 'saw' the city through her own eyes. The second tour was the Alcázar tour was exceptional. The site is awe inspiring, but her snippets bring it alive . If you found her here ...   Sofia was great. She started corresponding with me way before our trip. She was very accommodating and took her time showing us around and answering our questions. Her English was great which made it very easy for us to understand and learn about what we were seeing as well as answering general questions we had about Spain.

  Sofia was very informative and took time to make sure my wife, who had twisted her ankle, was able to navigate the palace with ease. She reached out to us about pre purchasing tickets way ahead of time which is a must otherwise it may sell out.

  My spouse and I had the distinct pleasure of Sofia Ventura serve as our private tour guide for the Alcázar of Seville. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the Alcázar’s colorful history, but she enhances her presentation of the facts with wonderful anecdotes about Kings Ferdinand and Pedro to where scenes from movies (e.g. “Game of Thrones”) were shot in the Mudejar-styled Palace using her tablet computer. This mix of technology and her own intellect sets her apart from most guides that we’ve experienced. Add her friendly demeanor and vibrant personality to the mix and you have an outstanding tour of the Royal Alcázar! We could not recommend her more highly.

  We did two tours with Sofia and both were excellent. We were a group of 8 adults, wanting 1) a walking tour introduction to the highlights of Seville, and 2) a guided tour of the Alcazar. From the moment we contacted Sofia, she was so generous in her information and guidance and advice, even giving us tips for things not directly relevant to her tours. We just loved our engagement with her and found both tours excellent in their content, delivery, pace, care of our needs etc. She really was a perfect tour guide for our private group of 8 people on their first trip to Seville. Thank you Sofia for all you did for us and what you showed us, you left great impressions and knowledge in our hearts and minds.

  We couldn’t have hired a better guide. Sofía’s friendliness, professionalism and expert knowledge ensured every minute of our visit was well spent. We appreciated her insightful and enthusiastic explanation of the palace’s architecture and its history. It was a pleasure to be in her company, we highly recommend her tour.

  Our private tour of the Alcazar with Sofia was EXCELLENT! It was highly informative and enjoyable on so many levels. We benefited greatly from Sofia pointing out details that we may have otherwise missed, but also from her situating those details within the context of Sevillean, Spanish and European histories and cultures. Sofia is also a lovely and charming person and my wife and I very much enjoyed chatting with her in general. That Sofia was able to provide us with such a calm and relaxed experience amidst a significant crowd of other visitors, is quite something. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

  We used Sofia ‘s service for 2 private guided private tours, one for Alcazar and one for Cathedral. From the beginning, Sophia was very responsive, timely answered all of my questions, guided me through the process of buying the tickets and sent me reminders when it was time to buy the tickets. She adapted the tour to our interests and pace. She was very knowledgeable, told us a lot of stories, history of Seville. She also recommended what else to do/see after the tours. We learned a lot and without her we would have missed details that made a whole difference. We were glad that we chose to go with Sophia and would recommend her service to everyone
