In this tour, we will travel through the mountains to enter to the cloud forest, where we’re gonna make some walks to observe several species of birds, orchids and maybe monkeys. After spending the night in our private lodge (Paradise Lodge), we will continue 3 hours by boat to “ Palotoa Amazon Lodge”in the way we will visit hot springs we will explore the primary rainforest (untouched) area with a chance to see many monkey species, birds like parrots and an unbelievable variability of plants like giant trees, palms and medical plants. At the end of the day, we will take a night-walk to observe spiders (tarantulas), insects, frogs and snakes. On the last day, we will return to Cusco by boat and bus.

We will leave from Cusco by private bus, first stopping to visit the town of Huancarani to take a breakfast, Then, we will drive through the mountains, to get to the typical folkloric town of “Paucartambo”. Here, we will take a short walk around the town before carrying on to “Tres Cruces”, the entrance to the Cultural Zone of Manu and the cloud forest. From there, we will continue to San Pedro where will walk for around one hour to observe the national bird of Peru, the Cock of the Rock(s), monkeys and orchids. We will arrive at our private Paradise Lodge in the evening where we will stay for the night.

After breakfast we continue by private bus to Atalaya. On the way we stop to observe a coca plantation and at a view point where you can get a good overview of the jungle and the river. From Atalaya we leave by motorized boat to Aguas Calientes, where you can bath in the natural hot springs. During the boat trip we will see many different kinds of animals, especially birds , and a beautiful landscape. In the afternoon we arrive to R.E .Amazon. At night we will have a night walk to observe nocturnal creatures then we will spend the night in a comfortable lodge in the middle of the Amazon.

(Exploring) this day, we’ll explore the jungle on our vast trail system, carrying a small day pack including our lunch. On the way, we will see many different kinds of animals such as monkeys, collared peccaries and birds such as eagles, parrots and toucans, medicinal plants, and giant trees. We might also have time to swim and fish; after the darkness, we will search for caiman eyes . We will spend the night in our comfortable lodge.

5.00I had a very good experience with Palotoa Amazon Travel, the four day in the jungle was incredible way to disconnect from the bustling city life of Cuscl and immerse in the wilderness of Amazon. The lodges were very nice amd cozy.

5.00We just got back from this four day tour to Manu National Park with Abel as our tour guide and it was definitely worth. Abel, as a local had plenty of knowledge about the place and took a great effort in explaining even the tiniest thing. We were accommodated in a very rustic and a comfortable accommodation and the good were exceptionally nice and authentic too. Highly recommend this to live an experience away from the bustling Cusco city.

5.00Manu National Park is spectacular. Our assigned professional guide, Jack, helped my husband and I have an experience of a lifetime in the jungle. The Palatoa Amazon company hire knowledgeable and experienced locals who provided all boat transportation, van transportation, and a chef who prepared all our meals using many traditional Peruvian recipes. Jack safely escorted us and provided expert level education about the vast rainforest ecosystem, plants and animals. If you are searching for an introductory experience to visit the Amazon jungle, this trip is worth it in every way.

5.00I booked the tour after checking their reviews. Gladis assisted me through the booking process and was very kind to answer to all my queries about the place and on what to carry. Abel, our guide was exceptional. As a local from the Amazon region, his knowledge about the flora and fauna of the region were incredible. He spoke good English and explained everything in detail. These were four amazing days away from the touristic crowds, amidst the nature.

5.00Quite a positive expereince with Abel on this four day tour to Manu National park. Got an insight to their traiditional way of life and spotted many distinct animals and birds as well. This was certainly a trip we will remember for the rest of our lives.

5.00We spent 3 nights, 4 days in manu national park, from 23rd December to 26th December. Jack was our tour guide and he was incredibly knowledgeable of the wildlife and the flora and fauna. He made a concerted effort to ensure we saw as much as possible in the short period we were there. We saw a host of wildlife from Parrots, Birds, Spiders, Snakes, Capybara, Insects and Monkeys. He tailor made the trip to our preferences and the ever changing weather conditions. The chef was great and there was always a lot of food and a lot of options. We even had a traditional Peruvian Christmas breakfast on Christmas Day.

5.00Very serious supervision, we left with a Guide (Mitchell) who knows all the animals, their noises and is constantly on the lookout to find us a lot of things! There is also a cook just for our group, who regaled us every day, as well as a very careful good driver (which is very rare in Peru!!) A great experience to do!
If you want to go to the Jungle, do it with Palotoa

5.00I will definitely recommend it to all my friends! Being in the jungle is a great adventure for all of us who live in the city, but going with Abel makes it a unique experience. It conveys his passion for nature and teaches you everything you want, without weighing you down, but it is for whatever you want during the trip. And he tells wonderful stories... it's a few days we'll always remember. The team that took us by boat, the cook and the organization... all very friendly since the trip began, and the very good and abundant food. We will always be grateful!!

5.00Us and our friends had great time at Manu National park. Abel and Raul were great in coordinating the trip. Bonus points for cook. We were group of vegetarians and we were so scared for not having enough vegetarians options in jungle but the amount of food options we had for all three meals was exceptional. Everyone was very kind and thoughtful of our needs. Let’s talk about adventures. We had so much fun expediting through jungle. Saw a lot of birds and animals. Payment through PayPal was smooth. Will totally recommend them to everyone.
