Taking a tour of the Forbidden City with our English-speaking tour guide will be the most rewarding travel activity during your stay in Beijing. Our experienced tour guide will spend 3 to 4 hours exploring every remarkable building and those interesting but less noticed corners of the Forbidden City. They will also explain clearly China's history and culture to you, including the construction history and historical background of the Forbidden City, as well as the stories of the 24 emperors who lived there during the Ming and Qing dynasties.
Before the end of the tour, your guide will give you the information to anywhere you want or give you a suggestion for a great place to visit,such as JingShan Park located behind the Forbidden city. Or the way to the Tiananmen square.
The tour package includes admission tickets. (However, if you book the tour less than 7 days in advance during peak season, you may need to wait in line to get tickets with your passport on the day of the tour.)

Forbidden City-The Palace Museum
We will explain clearly China's history and culture to you, including the construction and historical background of the Forbidden City, as well as the stories of the 24 emperors who lived there during the Ming and Qing dynasties. There are stories about the life of Puyi, the last emperor of China. The story of Reginald Fleming Johnston, a Scot who lived in the Forbidden City, and the story of how the Forbidden City was opened to the public and transformed into the Palace Museum after the fall of the Qing Dynasty. As the Palace Museum celebrates its centenary from its establishment in 1925 to 2025, we hope to have the opportunity to show you the charm of the Palace Museum in Beijing.
Jingshan Park
Before the end of the tour, your guide will give you the information to visit JingShan Park by yourself which is located behind the Forbidden city. From there, you can climb to the top of the hill to see the panoramic views of the entire Forbidden City and the old urban area of Beijing.

He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and made the history come alive with fascinating stories and details that you wouldn’t get on your own. Alex guided us smoothly through the crowds. 5.00I had an amazing time visiting the Forbidden City! The tour was so informative and well-organized. Our guide was incredibly thorough and knowledgeable — they explained the history, architecture, and symbolism behind everything in such an engaging way that I learned so much more than I expected. 5.00Highly recommended, Alex is a great tour guide!! As solo traveler I always try to avoid group tours, but this experience with Alex was awesome, he is friendly and expert so make the forbidden city visit unforgettable experience

The meeting point was comfortable, our group was small and nice, and it was the best price among other City tour guides. Alex opened the door to the secrets of the Forbidden Palace and told us lots of interesting facts and stories about the past of this historical place! I didn’t tired after 4 hours and really enjoyed our excursion! Recommend it to everyone!!)

5.00I had the opportunity to go with the guide Alex to see the Forbidden City. His English is absolutely perfect and I really liked how he explained everything because I learned so many details that I did not know. The pace of the visit was adequate and although I walked quite a lot, it didn't get heavy at all. I would certainly repeat on another excursion with the same guide.

5.00We had Alex our guide at the Forbidden City, I had a blast, he is professional and very knowledgeable, made the day go by like a breeze, especially with the process of the entrance, due to the security majors at that location. He showed around all the significant spots, cause it was a half day tour, this place is so huge to finish within a day even, but he organized it for us very well. I highly recommend Alex, he is an awesome tour guide.
