This must-do experience celebrates bike-friendly Montreal, and is a fun, accessible way to take in key landmarks and enjoy urban nature.
You'll be rewarded with photogenic scenes and sights, and gain perspective into Montreal's unique vibe, culture, & history.
We’ll set you up on a nice bike, a pleasure to ride. We’ll lead you on a loop route using Montreal's impressive bike paths, quiet streets, and laneways.
This is our most popular bike tour—you’ll cruise through ride Old Montreal, the Old Port & Riverfront, Downtown, and the charming neighbourhoods of Le Plateau and Le Village.
Your leader will be one of our specially trained Montreal ambassadors, who will gradually unravel Montreal's story--which plays a large part in Canada's story. You’ll pause at nice break spots featuring the cityscape, natural views, architecture, outdoor art, and neighbourhood life.

Operates in all weather conditions. In case of rain, we will provide some stylish rain capes.
Casual, comfortable weather appropriate clothes are recommend, flip flops are not.
This tour is for participants 14 years and older.
Tours can be bilingual upon request (French & English).
Avoid coming by car, parking is extremely difficult near our shop

5.00This was an awesome tour full of history and information of life in Montreal. The Fitz team was awesome, had bikes, helmets and maps ready for us. They gave a great safety briefing too and overall used all the amazing bike infrastructure in the city to move us safely about. Great tour! Book it! I would do it again.

5.00Very good rude. Martin was very knowledgeable about Montreal. He took us on a 3 hr tour hitting all the historical sites. It was windy but sunny. Really enjoyed it. Highly recommend.

5.00Highly recommended! We absolutely loved our bike tour. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the receptionist and then met our guide, Martin, and our fellow riders. The adventure began weaving through charming back-alley gardens and older neighborhoods where we discovered hidden, beautiful gardens — a wonderful tradition still kept alive. The tour continued through scenic parks and notable Montreal landmarks, including McGill University’s beautiful downtown campus, nestled at the base of Mount Royal with its grand architecture and lively student atmosphere. We also rode past the Bell Centre, home of the legendary Montreal Canadiens, before heading toward the Olympic Stadium, parts of Old Montreal, and other cultural highlights. Along the way, Martin shared fascinating stories about the city’s history and character, making every stop meaningful. We finished in the city’s newest districts, exploring the chic multi-unit complexes lining the canal. Martin was exceptional — knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate — making the entire experience truly unforgettable. The touring bikes were also very comfortable, adding to the enjoyment. Thank you for such a memorable morning and afternoon!

5.00The best way to see it all, Montreal is super bike friendly so you always feel safe to zip from site to site. Rod our tour guide was really knowledgeable not just of the sites but of everything Montreal, he was asked questions unrelated to the stop and not just did he have the answers, but with the accompanying stats, like what percentage were bilingual. He had an awesome memory and called each person by name all day after just meeting them for the first time. He ensured that everyone kept pace and was safe, sometimes going back for others. Fitness wise, the route of this tour only had a small hill at the end, short enough to walk next to your bike without losing the tour. It was amazing fun and a great day, the highlight of our first time to Montreal.

5.00Marie was the most amazing guide! She took our group all around Montreal on this "Hidden Gems" tour. She is extremely knowledgeable and told us lots of interesting facts about Montreal on this tour! And we even got a bagel from one of the top bagel companies in Montreal! I highly recommend this tour to get a great feel of the city of Montreal!

5.00Sandy was an excellent guide, navigating us through the streets with ease and making the tour accessible for different cycling skill levels. E bike made the whole thing a breeze but wouldn’t be difficult either on a standard bike. Lots of leisurely stops to drink water and relax before pedaling again.
A great way to see hidden Montréal.

5.00I had a great tour with Martin, he was nice and very knowledgeable of Montreal! When checking in, there is a small cafe to grab coffee and a light breakfast before going on the tour! Overall, nice experience and would recommend to anyone looking to learn about Montreal's history!
