Simpson Bay
Captain Bob's most popular speed boat, snorkeling and beach tour is a full day, 5 stop adventure of a lifetime that is uniquely designed to show you the very best of both the French and Dutch sides of Sint Maarten/St. Martin. Departing from Philipsburg, you'll first head past the islands of Saba, Statia and St. Barts before passing under the bridge into Simpson Bay Lagoon, the biggest lagoon in the Caribbean. While sightseeing in the lagoon you will be taken aback by the size of the million dollar "mega yachts" of the rich and famous that frequent the island in the wintertime. After officially crossing onto the French side of the island you will make your way around Marigot, Happy Bay, Friar's Bay and finally Grand Case.
Tintamarre Island
Your first stop is the island of Tintamarre, an uninhabited island within the French Nature Reserve that is only accessible by boat and where large groups are forbidden, a great way to escape the cruise ship crowds. Here your knowledgable captain will give you a brief tutorial, provide you with snorkel gear and flotation devices and send you off to snorkel with the protected sea turtles and stingrays that reside there.

Great excursion on our own in Port for the day on a cruise ship.

5.00What a great day we had with Captain Brent and Dillon. We arrived on a princess cruise ship for the day. Directions were very specific on the 15 minute walk where to meet them. We had an awesome day in Saint Martin! We went to two snorkeling spots, saw some turtles and colorful fish. We went to two different beaches and of course saw the planes flying overhead to land at the airport close by. Lunch was delicious and he provided chips apples and plenty to drink. We had a fabulous day and would definitely do this excursion again. Captain put our worries to rest, making sure we would make the cruise ship departure time.

5.00My husband and I are seasoned cruisers, and this excursion has easily become one of our all-time favorites for sightseeing, snorkeling, and a beach combo experience. The tour was fascinating from start to finish. We began by seeing the sights and learning about the incredible super yachts, then enjoyed two amazing snorkeling stops where we saw plenty of fish and even turtles! The beach stop for lunch was absolutely delicious, and Capt. Brett and First Mate Dylan were fantastic. They timed everything perfectly so we could watch a plane fly right over our boat...such a unique experience! We wrapped up at another beautiful beach where the water was crystal clear, like swimming in a pool, while watching more planes land in the distance. This will definitely be a repeat excursion for us.

1.00Booked months in advance, just got a text that due to the owners health(?), that they need me to cancel my trip, thats TWO WEEKS away?!? Sounds like they over booked, but what do I know... Very dissapointed, since we had done this excursion a few years ago, and were really looking forward to it!

5.00Amazing excursion with very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Highly recommend. This is a speedboat tour on the ocean so be prepared for bumpy conditions and lots of swimming and sun.

5.00A great day visiting snorkelling beaches, beautiful bays and then watching jet planes land on the most crazy airport in the Caribbean’s… Brett and Dylan wet super nice and friendly. Lunch was delicious. Highly recommended!!!

5.00Great Excursion ! We had approximately 14 people on our excursion and Capt Bob and Dylan did an amazing job making sure we had an unforgettable day filled with great memories! We was and swam with many green sea turtles, a few stingrays and abundant fish and coral! This is the trip to book for a day full of great memories!
Do this trip with them! Promise you will not be disappointed!

5.00Brett (Captain) and Dylan (First Mate) were a great duo! They took us to amazing places to snorkel, showed us the island and were very knowledgeable. They provided plenty of sandwiches/chips, drinks and spirits. We were able to catch a huge plane landing right over us and a little swim in Simpson Bay! Would definitely recommend and I will definitely take their excursion again! Thanks guys.... we had a blast! Plus we were able to WALK to their boat from where our ship docked! 😎

5.00We had a fantastic time on Captain Bob’s speed boat tour of St. Maarten! Safety was clearly a top priority, and the attention to detail throughout the trip made everything feel seamless. Despite a few rough patches on the sea, it didn’t affect our enjoyment at all. The free drinks and food were a lovely touch. The crew gave excellent explanations about the island, including the differences between the French and Dutch sides, which added a lot to the experience. The snorkeling was amazing—we saw so many fish and really enjoyed exploring the waters. It was also great to chat with fellow guests, which made the day even more enjoyable. We would totally recommend this trip to anyone visiting St. Maarten!

5.00Off a cruise ship, it was a perfect day out on the water, some history, snorkeling in two spots, one with turtles, one with mostly fish.., two beach stops. Be ready for speed boat excitement on the open Atlantic side! Small group size means you willl bond with your adventure mates :) If you value safety, adventure, and a genuine experience, this would be a great choice!
