JOYÀ chronicles the adventures of a rebellious teenage girl who lands in a mystery jungle in her grandfather's fanciful world. The old biologist longs to pass on to his granddaughter his unrelenting search for the meaning of life while being surrounded by a weird group of half-human, half-animal masters influenced by ancient Mayan iconography. JOYÀ was inspired by the monarch butterfly's amazing migratory journey, in which life is handed down from one generation to the next to ensure the survival of the species.

At Cirque du Soleil JOYA, we offer 2 types of performances: We have double performance days (6:00 PM and 9:15 PM) and single performance days (8:00 PM). Make sure that on the day you choose for your experience, we have the performance you prefer. Read more about
Your tickets will be held at the theater box office for collection on the day of the performance. You will be required to present your voucher, along with photo ID in exchange for your tickets.
ID will be requested for alcohol consumption
Champagne included in food and beverage experiences can be exchanged for red wine, white wine, juice, water or soft drink, directly in the theater with your waiter.
Casual-formal dress code.
We have vegan and vegetarian dinner menu options, in case of food restrictions please notify the waiter at the beginning of your dinner.
The use of flash is not allowed when taking pictures for the safety of the artists and videos no longer than 1 minute.

JOYÀ, the first Cirque du Soleil resident show in Mexico, combines culinary and performing arts in an intimate theater setting to engage the audience's five senses. Drawing on Mexico's history and heritage, JOYÀ tells the story of an alchemist and his granddaughter embarking on a quest to uncover the secrets of life. If you selected seating with dinner, please note the dinner starts an hour before the show. Ticket Options: Show-Only, Includes a seat at a side table or a high stool seat. 1.00A really bad expirience, the service in particular was miserable. After four asks, i had to go directly to the bar and try to get some drinks for me and my wife. One of the guys in the bar described all of the amazing cocktails he could prepare just to finish with “…but you will have to tell your waitress so I can make it for you”. So I went back to our seats to wait and when the server finally decided to come, she was almost yelling that we were not allowed to ask for drinks in the bar and that we were supposed to wait until she comes and take our orders. Very rude. When we raised concerns, they ignored us; a horrible experience and it’s such a shame because the show itself was amazing and the place has the most beautiful venue.

3.00This would have been 5 star but Nexus tours messed up the transportation on the way their in typical Nexus style…. They also say the show starts at 7 but doors open at 7 and the show starts at 8….

5.00I went with my partner to the dinner show, and we had a great experience. From the moment we arrived we were all greeted with a smile. We had time to stop by the bar before entering the theater for our dinner and enjoyed some very rich mocktails at an affordable price. Entry to the theater for dinner was at 6:45 and a hostess guides you to your seats while explaining a little about the facilities and concept. After that, your waiter greets you to explain the dishes and take you through an unrivalled dining experience. We were fortunate to be attended by Samuel and Alexis and their service was spectacular they took care of every detail and answered all our doubts about food. They were always very attentive to our needs during dinner. In the show we were fortunate enough that he made us part of his amazing acts which made the night even better. It was very fun and interesting the show, too admirable as all the music is live and the skill of all the acrobats, dancers and artists. We definitely recommend it and will enjoy this great show again

5.00The show itself was spectacular — beautiful, emotional, and incredibly well produced. The live singer and musicians truly make the performance. Even if some people don’t fully understand the story, the live music and vocals add so much depth and feeling that it becomes unforgettable. The food was excellent and well-presented, and the service was outstanding. Special thanks to Alexis and Daniel, our waiters — both were attentive, friendly, and professional, and they really elevated the whole evening. I’ve attended six Cirque du Soleil shows around the world, and Joya is easily one of the best I’ve seen. The only other one that impressed me at a similar level was KA in Las Vegas. Highly recommended — a must-see experience in Mexico.

1.00What a horrible experience. We bought our tickets for 10 people in March - almost a year before. When we got there they had sold our tickets to others. They billed us and sold out tickets. Our whole family travelled to Mexico to see this show. The whole experience was horrible. I would never recommend this to anyone, and we will never go see a cirque show again

1.00My family member booked and bought tickets for all of us 8 months in advance for New Year's Eve. The credit card was charged, and we had the ticket numbers. They canceled our tickets without our knowledge or a refund. They double sold the tickets and blamed the issue on a new system. Even with proof of ticket confirmation, they wouldn’t give us the seats. They admitted they sold us the tickets, and took our money which was also proven with our credit card statement. The manager responded to our case with “oh well.” Honestly unbelievable. Now it's a fight to get compensated. We may sue. I honestly can't believe Cirque could produce such an utterly horrible experience.

1.00Completely disorganized, waited more than 1 hour, and zero communication from staff leading up to the event. Even with the premium seats and appetizers not once did the wait staff come by to check in or take our order for drinks, etc..
