JOYÀ chronicles the adventures of a rebellious teenage girl who lands in a mystery jungle in her grandfather's fanciful world. The old biologist longs to pass on to his granddaughter his unrelenting search for the meaning of life while being surrounded by a weird group of half-human, half-animal masters influenced by ancient Mayan iconography. JOYÀ was inspired by the monarch butterfly's amazing migratory journey, in which life is handed down from one generation to the next to ensure the survival of the species.

At Cirque du Soleil JOYA, we offer 2 types of performances: We have double performance days (6:00 PM and 9:15 PM) and single performance days (8:00 PM). Make sure that on the day you choose for your experience, we have the performance you prefer. Read more about
Your tickets will be held at the theater box office for collection on the day of the performance. You will be required to present your voucher, along with photo ID in exchange for your tickets.
ID will be requested for alcohol consumption
Champagne included in food and beverage experiences can be exchanged for red wine, white wine, juice, water or soft drink, directly in the theater with your waiter.
Casual-formal dress code.
We have vegan and vegetarian dinner menu options, in case of food restrictions please notify the waiter at the beginning of your dinner.
The use of flash is not allowed when taking pictures for the safety of the artists and videos no longer than 1 minute.

JOYÀ, the first Cirque du Soleil resident show in Mexico, combines culinary and performing arts in an intimate theater setting to engage the audience's five senses. Drawing on Mexico's history and heritage, JOYÀ tells the story of an alchemist and his granddaughter embarking on a quest to uncover the secrets of life. If you selected seating with dinner, please note the dinner starts an hour before the show. Ticket Options: Show-Only, Includes a seat at a side table or a high stool seat. 5.00The show was great, the place were they host the show is also very nice, you can have a meal, drink, live music before or after the show. The only thing I would say, I paid extra for a better seat and drinks/appetizers. The seats were good but the appetizers were too sophisticated, kids do not have that palate .. there should be more kids friendly options. Service and show was outstanding. Transportation provided was also excellent. Gift shop super overpriced. My daughter wanted a small crotchet dino souvenir but it was $100 bucks. No thank you.

5.00Wonderful something unique, I took 2 grandchildren POR first time and wanted to tell them what they would see, I did NO and it was a super surprise for them are 14 and 18 years DE.

5.00The show was Amazing and the venue was beautiful... It was my first time ever seeing one of the Cirque du Soleil shows.. and what a way to start!! ...Our driver unfortunately, didnt tell us we were at our drop off location, on the way home and when he realized we were still on the van after other drop off.. he just put us out on the street to fend for ourselves becaise he didnt want to turn around and get us back to Plaza Isla.... So we had to get an Uber.... my suggestion is, watch where your going once it gets dark.. because you might miss your stop. Dont rely on the driver to announce stops.. its not like the Bus.

5.00The service is absolutely amazing! Starting at the box office who was so helpful and friendly, to the greeters, waiters and assistants. The food was incredible served in a manor that perfectly matched to the show. And the show WOW one of the best Cirques ever. I have seen Mystere, Corteo, Drawn to Life and Joya is hands down tops them all. Also Viator has been great to work with. I have used them many times in NYC, Montreal, Cancun a couple of times, Punta Cana and the vendors they offer always do a great job.
