There’s also an on-board audio tour commentary provided in 8 languages, so you can engage with Dublin’s history as you cruise around. This tour has many perks, including discounted entry at the Irish Whiskey Museum and a free walking tour, making your sightseeing experience even more immersive & 1 child (aged 4-12) can travel for free with every 2 paying adults!

Tour operates All year round (except on Christmas Day), and runs daily.
First departure from Stop 1 at 9:15am. Last departure from Stop 1 at 5pm. Duration - 2 hours. Frequency - every 20 - 25 minutes, however this is subject to change depending on the time of day and year; please check locally for the latest timetable.
Tour begins at the Irish Whiskey Museum, however passengers can hop on to the tour at any bus stop along the route.
You must bring a mobile or printed voucher for this tour.
Mobile vouchers can be redeemed at any of stops along the route. Paper vouchers must be redeemed at one of the following tourist offices: 37 College Green, Dublin 2. 69 Upper O'Connell Street, Dublin 1.
Buses provide a multilingual audio tour commentary.
With your voucher, enjoy flexible access for up to 12 months from the travel date you select at check-out.
1 child (aged 4-12) can travel for free with every 2 paying adults. No ticket required for the child
Walking Tour: Departs every day at 10am, 11am and 2pm. Meeting Point: The Spire, O'Connell Street. Duration of the tour: 3 hour approximately. Customers will need to show their ticket to the guide

1.00Horrible experience, we waited at pick up point 21 for 45 minutes and no boss. However all the other hop on buses continued to stop. We decided to walk to pick up point 22 so we could atleast see some things. Twenty minutes later the red hop on bus came so we got on and the driver said, oh no, you on the green hop on bus….so he wouldnt take us…. :( Even though the picture of my ticket i purchased looked like the red bus he was driving. So long story short. We wasted over 1 hour waiting and money on this stupid thing. Don’t recommend this company. We will try the other company next time.

3.00This bus was not a good choice. The other hop on hop off buses passed us a number of times before we were able to get on this one. We waited about an hour to get on the bus. Once we were on it, the tour was fine. We didn’t want to hop off because we didn’t know how long it would take to catch another one.

5.00Easy to hop on and off throughout the city. Great to sit and relax after walking all day. While driving they tell some good history. They provide headphones for different languages. They also provide maps. This bus seems to have more stops then the others.

3.00The red open topped bus tours were not very good because the recordings sometimes were hard to hear. I preferred the green buses as the drivers had head mikes and were far more pleasant and interactive with the passengers.

2.00None of the audio systems on the seats worked. Have tried it on several buses. Despite complaints to the staff during the tour, we could not be helped. This did not justify the price of 34.00 euros/person. Information could only be obtained via the outside speakers if the ambient noise allowed it.
