5.00This was a wonderful day filled with beautiful scenery, food and delicious wine! Jean was the most fantastic guide. He did everything with a personal touch. He even brought us to parts of Douro valley not frequented by tourists. It was a fabulous day!

5.00Jon was AWESOME! He knew so much about the region, had so many little nuggets of gold he provided in terms of knowledge of the area, the wine, the history of Portugal etc it was simply a 10/10 experience. He did everything plus some from what described in the booking. Whenever he took us to Ferdinand Magellen’s hometown and I believe was was his childhood home, that was the cherry on top! We had just watched “Uncharted” so coming from the USA and seeing that on top of the great wine tasting, was an experience that will be unforgettable. Wherever we went, the locals knew who he was and you know he was the real deal and a treasure cove of knowledge and personality. I would book this tour over again 100%. The food that was provided was also the best meal we’ve had in Portugal! It was quite the unexpected treat out of the whole experience. Best thing so far on our Portugal experience. Jon, thank you for an unforgettable journey!

5.00This is well worth the time and price if you happen to be spending some time in Porto. It’s the perfect day trip! Our tour guide Jean was very knowledgeable, warm, and welcoming. Each stop offered a new perspective on the Douro Valley and the rich history of winemaking in the area.
