    We had an amazing time on our day in the Douro Valley. The two wineries were so cool- family owned and very special. Our guide, Luis was one of the best guides we have ever had and brought so much laughter and fun to our tour. The food for lunch was a highlight. We had expected that to be average and it was far from it. It was a Gourmet meal. I would highly recommend this specific tour.

    Incredible experience that showcases what makes Portugal so unique and its people so hospitable. João was the most wonderful tour guide - there wasn’t a question he couldn’t answer (and we asked a LOT). He even let us play with puppies..it doesn’t get much better than that. Raphael at the boat dock made excellent port/tonics for us and served us snacks to star the day. Food at the first winery was fab and they kept the wine flowing. Second winery was a tasting with excellent wine. Wish we could go back and do more wineries too!

    I thoroughly enjoyed my trip down to the Douro valley with Carlos from BL Heritage tours! Our itinerary included a 1.5 hr drive down to the valley, a visit to two wineries, and an hour-long boat tour. On the way down you get a great view of the valley and the river. And the wineries provide an up close look at the process to making port wine. Overall, great tour.
