• Fun in the wineries!

  Should not be missed. This was a small group tour (8 of us in total plus guide). We drove to Douro Valley visiting 2 wineries, the second with lunch and also took a hour boat ride in the valley. Lots of wine tasting and a traditional Portuguese lunch in one of the winery stops. Our guide Leo (Lee Andrew) was so great. He made this trip fun, informative (learned a lot!) and worth the expense. It was a full day that I will remember as a beautiful experience on Porto!

  Very nice experience. Just to travel thru the Douro valley along with wine tasting and a wonderful homemade lunch! We’re able to accommodate gluten free and nut free options. Learned much about the wine and port process. Also enjoyed the river cruise which was very calm. Everyone was very pleasant from start to finish. Our tour leader and driver Carlos was fantastic and made our trip a 5 star review!! Thank you.

  Great day out with a small group. Bruno was our guide and was incredibly knowledgeable about lots of things be it the Wine, Portuguese history or food. You get to visit 2 Quintas and a ride in a small boat. I think they have deals with a few Quintas and have a few minibuses so not every trip goes to the the same Quintas or uses the same boat, however I think they can choose the best partners. We went to Quinta da Foz for our first tasting and talk. Innes our guide was again very knowledgeable and fun, which made for a great experience. We then had a boat trip where Paco talked us through the reasons the valley is good at growing vines and also problems they had to overcome. This included a cocktail and very nice nibbles. Finally we went to Quinta do Monte Travesso where we were again treated to wine tasting along with a lovely hearty dinner. So much food and drink! We don't usually go on tours like these however, I don't imagine you would get the same experience doing it yourself. We had really great company with two great Australians and three wonderful young Canadians that only added to the experience.

  An exceptional tour, with lots of details about wine, port and the history of the Douro Valley with a fun and casual vibe! We visited two wineries, toured the first and had a traditional 4 course Portuguese lunch at the second and two amazing tastings. The tastings were great and we learnt lots about port. We had a great river cruise in the middle of the day which allowed for stunning views of the valley from the water, accompanied with port and tonic and breads, hams and other great snacks. Our Driver, Leandrew was incredible! Extremely friendly, knowledgable and fun. He shared his personal experiences of growing up in the Douro Valley which gave the tour a soul. On top of all of that, the Douro Valley is stunning! This in the top few tours I've ever done and can't recommend it enough. Ask for Leandrew to be your guide. Can't recommend him enough either!

  Excellent value, professional and friendly staff. Good pace, relaxed and attentive. Lots of samples of port and wine, even a "welcome" cocktail using white port! High quality food with generous portions. Very pleased with my experience.
