Dublin Traditional Pub Tour

Everyday at 6PM from the Spire (The Big Needle) on O'Connell St. Running Late? Meet us until 6:30PM at The Black Sheep on Capel St.

Experience the famous Dublin pub culture with us! On this 3.5 hour tour, we take you out of the tourist area and visit some local bars with some local people!

We visit four different pubs on the north side of the river, introducing you to some of the best new craft beers and Irish Gin and Craft Whiskey in Ireland. Excellent traditional Irish food (not included in the price) is available in the third venue and we finish with a traditional Irish music session.

The Spire

We meet beside the Spire (the big needle) in the middle of O'Connell street. After being introduced to your local guide and your fellow travellers we move off to the first stop on our Pub Tour.

Recently pedestrianised, Capel street has become a hub at nighttime for Dubliners and visitors alike to enjoy Dublin's famous Pub Culture. At our first stop, we experience a craft beer bar serving locally produced Irish beer. Enjoy tasters of three distinct styles of beer from an Irish microbrewery as your guide explains how the beer is made and how you get the wonderful different flavours.

My boyfriend and I booked this last minute and it was our favorite part of our trip!! Our tour guide Rob was absolutely amazing. Funny, engaging, and we learned a lot. Definitely worth it, and loved meeting more locals. Rob was 10/10, so much so we booked another tour with him while we there.

A well-organized tour and very friendly guide. The fact that he had tables reserved for us made me feel welcomed in the pubs and not like an intruding tourist being pushed into a crowded pub for just one drink and then rush to move on. We had time to relax and enjoy the drinks, food, music and ambiente of the pubs. It is also a safe and fun way for a solo tourist to go out on the town.

Loved my tour with Connor! I was solo traveling and it was great meeting everyone in group. He showed us some great pubs that I went back to throughout my time in Dublin. I did this tour my first day here and it was a great way to start my trip!

My husband and I signed up for the pub tour even though I don’t drink. He totally enjoyed tasting the different kinds of beer. And I totally enjoyed learning how beer ( and whiskey and gin) are made. I had no idea how interesting a process it is. Peter, our guide for the evening (6-10 pm) was entertaining, knowledgeable and very patient when I asked my multitude of questions.

I had a great time on the Pub Tour! Our guide, Sam, was very kind, funny, and informative. We had a large group, but he made time to get to know each of us, which was nice. We visited 4 pubs, which included drinks, and then you could pay for dinner separately. Overall the tour was well run and a lot of fun! I highly recommend to join solo or as a group. Cheers!

Peter was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The tasting portions were generous. A lot of history on beer and whiskey production in Ireland.

Stopped at three bars got to pour our own Guinness. Tour guide Jack was amazing entertained us with Irish customs and history.
