Totally frustrating experience

1.00The experience did not happen due to strike action. We turned up 90 minutes early and saw the sign that the Eiffel Tower was closed due to staff strike action. We contacted the tour operator to find out what the options were as we had not been advised about the strike by them. We still haven't been contacted by them. We advised them that due to changed circumstances we would not be able to rebook for a later time and asked for a refund but none has been forthcoming. Have tried to contact the tour operator 3 or 4 times but have had no response and Viator sends you round and round with no way to email them and the phone number doesn't work (quite possibly my error) Plenty of information about cancellation and refunds if I cancel but absolutely nothing about if the tour is cancelled Why should it be so hard? Things go wrong. I get it but surely this isn't the first time!! As you may be able to detect I am really frustrated. Will somone please contact me and get this sorted

5.00This is a no frills tour entrance to the Eiffel Tower. It basically allowed you to skip the entrance line and got your tickets to the top. On busy days this might save you an hour or more. On less busy days, you're paying a little extra to see the Eiffel tower.
