  Our guide Danyel helped us navigate the lines at the security and the ticket booth. When we got there, the summit was at capacity and not accessible. Or guide found out that the summit would re-open 45 minutes later, and the group agreed to wait for that at the base of the tower. Danyel shared details of the history of the tower and kept everyone's spirits up during the wait. He also provided reassuring guidance when the North elevator was suddenly closed and everyone in line has to move to the East entrance. Be aware that this tour does not provide advance or timed tickets. You wait in the same line as any walk-up visitor, just accompanied by a tour guide. This operator may re-schedule the tour, presumably to have a large enough group. Our 8 pm booking was changed twice, to 7:00 on the prior day, then 8:30 on the day of the tour. With the wait for the summit to re-open, then the entry point change, and waits at two lifts, we only got to the summit level at 10:50 pm. I had hoped to see the sunset from the Eiffel tower but now realize I should have booked the tour 3 to 4 hours prior to that time.

  Our experience was terrible!!! I thought by buying tickets through you and having a tour guide we would not have to stand in the long line. We had to stand in line over 1 and 1/2 hours and Could not hear the tour guide. I purchased the tickets to go to the top and was told we could not. Once we got to the elevator it was too many people and the tour guide left us. Once we finally got to the 2nd floor the tour guide ignored us after we were questioning him about the top floor. The entire experience was the worst I’ve ever had and I would like a full refund!

  Our guide Danyel was excellent! We liked the location of the meetup point - away from the massive crowds, on a quiet street only a couple of blocks from the entrance. You have to wait in line for a security check to enter the grounds of the Eiffel Tower. Danyel shared many entertaining and educational insights while the short 5 minute line progressed. Once inside, he offered to take family photos and shared more history before leading our group of about 18 to the main line/queue for the lifts. Again, he helped pass the time (roughly 30-45 minutes) by sharing more insights - and an engaging sense of humor. Each lift/elevator holds about 50 people, so the group boarded together. The lift goes directly to Floor 2, with the option of going to the top (which was closed during our visit 22:30 hrs -23:30 hrs. Danyel bade us bonsoir at Floor 2, and we took in the lights and sights of Paris. Magnifique! It was a bit cooler and a bit windy on Floor 2, but plenty of room for all guests to enjoy for as long as they wish) On the way down, you can go to Floor 1, which we did - you once again can hear the sounds of people, traffic, sirens, etc. and visit the restaurant, cafe, restrooms, etc. We did book a visit to the top of the tower but will receive a refund since the top floor was closed (and that's ok - the views from Floor 2 may be ideal). Highly recommend this tour - especially after dark. You can book a start time 45-60 minutes before dark, as it takes that long to get to Floor 2. Enjoy!

  Our tour guide was friendly and handled things well but having a tour wasn’t necessary—it doesn’t allow you to skip the lines or get in any faster or streamline the process in any way. Next time I would just buy the tickets directly from the tower for second floor access.
