  Communication with Salvatore was very good leading up to the day. We met the other travelers and the guide, Rosario, who was great. Everyone was on time, about 9:30 am. Headed out in a van to Mt Etna. There were a few stops with some mild trekking. Lots of good information. We had a few bathroom breaks, a coffee/water break and a very good lunch at the restaurant on the mountain. Ended the day at the gorge/gardens which was very nice. There was lots of driving time, but that is the only way to see everything in one day. Would definitely recommend.

  It was great. Salvatore and his colleague were very informative and knowledgeable about the area. We enjoyed our experience very much and would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn about Etna, while also enjoying a great lunch.

  This was a brilliant trip. Clear communication and instructions. 3 stops to see lava flow, caves and craters. Toilet stops and a delicious lunch at a traditional restaurant. The Gorges were beautiful. We got some amazing pictures with lots of information about Etna’s volcanic activity. Salvatore, Rosario and other leaders were super friendly and made it a memorable day.   This was an excellent tour. Our driver Giovanni and our tour guide Salvo were both great. At Etna we walked to the most recent lava flow, visited a cave, and then walked up to a crater. The visit to the crater was breathtaking. It was very windy, but very clear and we got to see Stromboli which is over 100 miles away. Salvo was an excellent guide, and brought the eruption to life with photos and his descriptions. Lunch was in a very nice restaurant where you could choose from several different options. You could order beer or wine at an extra charge. The tour to Alcantara Gorges was also beautiful. We didn't realize that we should have water shoes to walk in the gorge, make sure you bring this if you want to. We did the nature walk instead which provided great view of the gorge. All around I would highly recommend this tour.

  An annoying start to the day. (driver was stopped by police and the van was rejected. All together in the van to the nearest garage for an inspection. Was apparently last judged 6 years ago) It has nevertheless been a beautiful day. The driver was nice spoke good English. No idea what his name is, did not introduce himself but was a fine guide. The program was rushed due to the loss of time due to police control. There was too little time for a coffee, some more explanation or quiet lunch. A (big) flaw is the incomplete information that is given in advance. This excursion is really not suitable for people with walking difficulties, poor fitness or lung problems. It runs up and down pretty good. We made inquiries about this beforehand but it was all passable which was not the case afterwards. Because of this we were unable to participate in certain walks during the part of the ethna and waited in the parking lot for the other travel companions to return. Very unfortunate, we paid 89€ pp but could not do everything. The part to the gorges alcantara was super nice, fine in terms of (free) time to spend there. All in all a nice day but had chosen another excursion if better (fairer) information would have been given.

  Very good organization The planned programme was successfully completed The French of the guide was a bit accurate but we understood him well and he compensated with his kindness We were half an hour late and he kept the group waiting. The food is. Correct Thank you to our guide Simone for this day

  We visited Etna and 'was in a unique experience .... in front of us His Majesty' ....... but all this was even more beautiful because with us there was Alfio a real well of information told us past and present of each pebble told us stories .... with us there were children and was sweet and attentive and made sure that they had fun thanks Alfio of this wonderful day ....

  We had a great time with Salvo who is a gifted gide and a very pleasant and patiant person. He guided us with much information and funny remarks in the unique Etna north craters.

  Salvatore was a great host taking us to excellent tour of Etna showing us some great landscapes and terrain of Etna. He was very patient and accommodates everyone’s needs to make sure we all had a great experience. Highly recommended.
