  This tour is definitely one of the most vivid impressions of our trip to France. The comfortable car, the professionalism of the driver and the guide – everything was top-notch. Rouen charmed us with its medieval atmosphere, and Étretat amazed us with its power and beauty. However, based on our experience, I want to give two important tips to future travelers. Firstly, we followed the standard route: morning in Rouen, afternoon in Étretat. It was only on the way back that we learned from the guide that the route could have been adapted to go to the cliffs first and then to Rouen in the afternoon. This would have been more logical, especially in November. And secondly, about the weather: on the cliffs in Étretat in November, there is an insane, piercing wind! We were not dressed warmly enough, and this slightly marred the delight of the views. I definitely advise dressing in layers: thermal underwear, a sweater, and a windproof jacket are mandatory! Despite these nuances, the day was magnificent. The Chapel of Notre-Dame de la Garde, the sad story of Joan of Arc, the gift at the end – all this will remain in our memory. Just be prepared for the wind and discuss your preferred order of visits with your guide in advance.

  We hesitated for a long time whether it was worth spending a whole day on a trip from Paris, but now we can say with confidence – it was one of our best decisions! The tour is perfectly balanced: you spend the morning immersed in medieval French history in Rouen, and after lunch, you are treated to stunning Atlantic views in Étretat. Private transport is a key advantage; you are independent of a group and feel extremely comfortable. The guide in Rouen showed us not only the main attractions but also hidden corners away from the tourists, sharing many interesting facts. And in Étretat, we had free time to climb the cliffs, take fantastic photos, and just sit in a cafe breathing in the fresh sea air. The gift at the end was a pleasant surprise. This tour revealed a different France to us, not the Parisian one, but no less beautiful.

In Rouen, we were met by a fantastic guide who literally brought the medieval city to life for us. We saw the cathedral painted by Monet and felt its scale in person, strolled through charming streets with half-timbered houses, and learned about the tragic history of Joan of Arc at her church. And then we were in for a complete contrast – Étretat. Those cliffs, arches, and the Needle Rock are incredible! The climb to the Chapel of Notre-Dame de la Garde was worth it; the view from there is breathtaking. We ended the day with a walk on the pebble beach and a cup of coffee overlooking the ocean.
