Backpacks of any size or dimension, and any bag designed to be worn on the back, are not allowed.
Sandals, sleeveless shirts, and shorts or skirts above the knees are not allowed inside the Cathedral. Please bring a scarf to cover up before entering.
The baptistery is currently undergoing restoration of the vault's mosaics.
On Sundays and holidays, skip-the-line priority access to the Cathedral is suspended as it is closed to all visitors. Instead, we will visit the Ancient Basilica of Santa Reparata (the Crypt).
Arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour. This is due to the timed entry of the tickets.
It is not possible to join the tour after it has commenced.
Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.

5.00Our guide was very pleasant, thorough and knowledgeable. We went through 3 buildings in 2 hours and i didn't feel it was too fast or too slow.
The museum is a must when visiting the Duomo.

5.00My mother and I went 14 October with guide Nora. The ticket meeting point was clear and easy, from there we got our headsets and Nora gave the best experience. The pacing and organisation of the tour was just amazing. Highly recommend this tour company!

5.00We toured the museum, baptistery, and doumo. Excellent guide with a lot of passion and knowledge. Good use of elevators for those with mobility issues. Much more to see than we expected. Just excellent.

5.00Definitely get on a tour The lines are incredibly long for Duomo The guide is knowledgeable Took us through the museum baptistery and Duomo then we climber to tower on our own with the same ticket

5.00Tour guide was excellent. She started us in the museum which was a little slower start, however she promised us it would be worth it and it absolutely was. Why? Because the museum houses the original sculptures and other art work that you see on the outside of the cathedral. The ones on the outside of the cathedral are replicas. The real art is stored inside to preserve it. The guide knew an incredible amount about the history and provided many interesting stories! Really enjoyed this tour including the cathederal and the basement/crypt. Would definitely recommend.
