We did the "Florence The Magnificent: Best of Florence" tour and it about killed us! Tour suppose to be 8 hours & included walking tour of city, visit to Accademia to see the David and a tour of the Uffizi. There were no water, bathroom or food breaks, or even an opportunity to sit for a moment. After the walking tour and Accademia, we raced 20 min. back to the tour office for the Uffizi tour and, on the way, decided to cancel it because it was just too much in 1 day. With some prodding, they agreed to reschedule the Uffizi tour. All of the tour guides were great, it just was a poorly planned tour that would have been better had they paid attention to basic creature comforts on such a long tour.

Our Guide was fun , knowledgable, and made it great for everyone. W e used Florencetown Tours for several other tours while in Florence and in Rome. All of them were great and a great value. Easy to book and work with. Had to cancel a tour due to time restraints and rebook another one. They were very accommodating. Working with a person named Francesco by email. handled all our affairs. It was great

Ery UNINFORMATIVE tour. The tour ws called „on the Medici‘s footsteps“ but we didn‘t get any information about the history of the city, monuments or aby of the cultural heritage. Insted we went to have an icecrwam (for wich we had to queue half an hour). I would NOT recommend the tour.

Family group of 4, kids young adults. We joined a group with Deborah as guide. The pace of the tour was great not too slow but also not too fast, a good walking rate with frequent interesting stops to call out different sights. Deborah's English was excellent, so very easy to follow what she was describing and to ask questions. This really helped to orientate the city.

We have enjoyed 6 classes/tours with Florencetown this week. Because we are slow walkers, we did a private tour. Fabio asked us questions about our experiences before and where we were staying, he edited the tour to make it less while feeling we saw it all! We saw the squares and Neptune fountain, Uffizi, Baptistry, SMN Church, another church across the river Sua Spiritu, Ponte Vecchio. So friendly, so knowledgable.

Fabio wqs a wealth of knowledge and so much fun! This was our first time in Florence and we only had 2 days so he showed us everything that we needed to see. We learned how gelato was made, heard hilarious Michelangelo stories, saw how people in Florence purchases wine back in the day (see photo) and of course all the top sites to complete the trip. We were with Fabio for 2.5 hours but it felt like 5 minutes! We didn’t want it to end. Request Fabio and you won’t be disappointed — he gave us great dinner and bar recommendations that we will be trying out before heading home.

Laura was an amazing guide, always ready to answer our questions and adding curious details to her explanations about the city. Laura is very well prepared for this job, she studied history of arts, so she certainly knows what she is talking about and we appreciated her true Florentin soul. We will definitely come back to Florence and look for you!
