Take part in two hours of fresh pasta lessons with Teresa, born and raised in Syracuse.

You will learn how to prepare a traditional egg pasta and local pasta with remilled semolina flour.

The activity can be customized and the sauces are seasonal.

You can request the preparation of dried pasta such as timbales or pasta with seafood: clams and mussels.

Local flours contain gluten.

The experience is ideal for families or groups, minimum two people. Children must be at least 8 years old.

Take your chance! In summer on this site you can find a last minute at a special price, you will occupy the few vacant seats.

A visit to the Point of Sale of Ortigia with a small price is not to be missed before class.Teresa accompanies you to breakfast with local products and explains basic recipes of Italian cuisine.The tour starts at 8.45am and costs €50, payable locally.

Imagine sinking your hands into the flour, smelling intense scents and savoring the pleasure of creating dishes that tell the traditions.With your teacher you will live an authentic experience, made of simple gestures, genuine flavors and family recipes. What awaits you in two hours of lessons: You will prepare four forms of fresh local pasta using traditional methods. You will use local and seasonal flours and ingredients. Sauces will be meat, fish or vegetarian. Teresa can adapt recipes to your needs. The skills you will bring with you after cooking class at Teresa's house, will not only be recipes, but a small piece of Sicily to share with your family and friends. As a gift you will get a list of local sauces for pasta or bruschetta. This lesson is not only practical but also informative about local products. Ask about Accommodation, Teresa has two for you just renovated and in Ortigia. Children attending class must be at least eight years old.

Our cooking class with Teresa was one of the highlights of our recent Mediterranean cruise!! The food was authentic, delicious and the instructions easy to follow. Teresa even sent us home with the recipes. I highly recommend even if you are only in town for a few hours!

Teresa did an amazing cooking experience for our family with 2 types of pasta, delicious caponata and absolutely fantastic tiramisu!!! So close from Ortega, wonderful hospitality, and relaxing afternoon in her backyard.

Amazing amazing amazing experience! I went with my friends for a birthday celebration and everything was perfect. She arranged for a taxi service to come pick us up and drop us off we made an appetizer, fresh pasta, pizza and dessert. She provided wine bottles and extra bruschetta! Would definitely come back. Very pleasant

Teresa, was truly the best. We made cavatelli with ragu, pizza, and peach fig tiramisu. She catered the menu to meet our groups allergies. She is very clean and fun. At the same time she is very knowledgeable about cooking. Her English is fabulous. The cooking lesson is really organized and her backyard is such a beautiful set up. She provides amazing wine and coffee. So much food you will probably have leftovers too. It’s a really fun group activity. Only 15-20 mins from Ortigia and she organizes the transportation. Teresa sources her ingredients from the local market. Only the best ingredients. The cherries and peaches were so fresh.

The most amazing experience!!!! Teresa is so kind and welcoming. She explained everything we were making and going to eat with such careful and thoughtful detail. She is so sweet and wonderful! Not to mention we made the most delicious two pastas, pizza, and a peach cake and it was some of the best I’ve ever had. The ingredients were so fresh and this was SO fun. We got wine and coffee as well!!! If you’re considering booking this while in Sicily- must do!!!!!!!

Incredible time cooking with Teresa. She was so welcoming and we had so much much fun cooking with her. She taught us so much! We cant stop smiling.

A special experience in Teresa's kitchen and garden. My wife and I made a delicious tuna ravioli with tuna tartare beforehand and a strawberry desert after. Everything with fresh products we got at the Siracusa market and with fresh herbs from Teresa’s herb garden. If you are ever in Siracusa this cooking workshop is highly recommended.

My family and I enjoyed a cooking lesson with Theresa. We made pasta, a pizza, and arancini. Theresa was great, patiently showing my kids (who had limited cooking experience) how to make the dough and from the pasta. We all learned so much about Sicilian cooking with her. We had the lesson at Theresa’s house, which was perfect. It was easy to find and provides a great space for us to learn. We would definitely encourage anyone visiting Siracusa or Ortigia to take a class and recommend Theresa - it was a great experience!
