• Great Transfer - Be Aware of the Distance to Walk to Leaning Tower!

  We were docked in Livorno whilst on our cruise and so booked this transfer to see pisa. The tour operators were easy to locate as they were right at the cruise shuttle stop which made it very smooth. At the end of the day you were dropped off at the same place which was great for us to get the shuttle back to the ship. The coach itself was clean and tidy and more importantly had air conditioning! The only issue that I feel is worth mentioning is that the transfer drops you off at least 20 minutes walk to the famous bell tower/leaning tower of pisa. Some fellow passengers had mobility issues and they weren't aware of the distance that they would have to walk in order to see the sights and enter the main city. On the day that we visited there was no shuttle from the coach into pisa and so we all had to walk. The only other option would be to take a taxi but given the short amount of time before you had to get back on the coach to transfer back to livorno this would massively eat into your time. All in all this was a great transfer but more time was definitely needed as we missed a lot of pisa due to losing nearly an hour walking into pisa and back!

  Not great communication. Texted them twice with no answer. Bus arrived late and picked up late. Choose another tour if you can.

  When I got there, the employees greeted nobody and scanned my ticket without looking at me. As I was in line, I noticed everyone had a green sticker on their shirt. I went back to the employee to ask and without saying a word, he grumpily gave me one. I said but we are two, so he gave me a second sticker. Make sure they give you a sticker because on the way back, if you do not have your sticker, they do not let you board the bus!! We left 10minutes late which is fine, no problem. Then once we arrived, they parked a 15-20min walk away from the tower of Pisa. They said come back here at 2:15pm. Around 1:45pm we realized we could not find the parking lot and called the whatsApp number on the sticker. They never picked up. Eventually they wrote us back but were slow to respond with telling us exactly where to go. We ran back and got there at 2:14pm and the bus had already left. We were about 10 people there at 2:15pm who had missed the bus since it left a bit early. We realized the employees were not there but just a bus driver who didn’t care or know how many people to pick up which is why he left early. On WhatsApp they were not helpful and kept telling us the bus was there but it had already left. Finally they messaged us and told us to take the 3:15pm bus. So we waited an hour!!!!!! At 3pm, the bus came, the driver would not let us on because our sticker was a different colour. Finally he agreed to call headquarters who said we could go on if there were seats left and guess what, we filled the bus to maximum capacity so the bus left at 3:13pm. One lady who was with us said their group of 4 people paid for the Lucca and Pisa bus ride but when she got there a few minutes before departure, the bus was full so they put her on the Pisa bus leaving later. This means she paid for Lucca and Pisa but only got Pisa! Finally, we were surprised because coming back we got dropped off at the cruise port (worked out for us) but the driver never asked if everyone was ok with a different drop off since on the reservation, it said we would be dropped off where we were picked up from which was the Livorno city centre!!!!! Basically everything worked out fine in the end, but due to poor communication and planning, I would only recommend this to people who are very VERY flexible and who have a plan B or don’t mind showing up and being told the bus is full.

  It’s very confusing getting from the bus drop off to the leaning tower of Pisa. No directions by the bus driver.

• Amazing site, great staff. Was a little rushed to see all the sites.

  Incredible - be sure to add on the tower / church ticket. It would have been nice to have one more hour, making it a longer trip. We would have liked more time at the site.
