5.00What an amazing day in Lucca with Tommaso! Having a local as your guide was incredible! He was so knowledgeable and showed us everything fabulous about his town! We fell in love with Lucca! The wine tasting was so intimate in the family home. Julia and Carlo made it so special and amazing. We were treated like family! Finally the communication with Tommaso was perfect! We decided on a private trip which was so fun! We highly recommend this tour!!!

5.00Our tour guide Raffaele was very attentive, knowledgable, and made our tour very enjoyable. Loved the experience of his town, Lucca. WHAT A BEAUTIFUL CITY! Also enjoy the wine experience in a very traditional winery. This tour is a MUST do! And the timing with everything was perfect. Was also able to visit the tour of Pisa.

5.00We were picked up on time by our Driver/guide Raffaele. The tour to Lucca,Pisa & wine tasting was absolutely fantastic. Lele was extremely knowledgeable and with a good dose of humour added, which made it really fun. the wine estate was small and very interesting. They us feel very welcome and the tour of the winery was very good. The visit to Pisa was enough time to see everything. All in all I will recommend this tour to everyone as the total experience was 10 star.
Best excursion of our 10 day cruise. The Andersons from Canada.

5.00Raffaele was very pleasant and personable. He actually lives in old lucca. So you can image what he could tell us about the area. Knew a lot about the winery and Pisa. Money well spent. The most enjoyable excursion of our 10 day cruise. Travelled with 3 other couples. Lots of talking, laughs, drinking, eating and fun.
Tour cancelled by the Operator

1.00We were very much looking forward to exploring Luca and surrounds - but unfortunately our tour was cancelled at short notice by the operator claiming their car was damaged and needing repairs. The operator asked us to cancel the tour ourselves - rather than them cancelling it - which I can only assume is to not affect their rating with the tour sites. It was disappointing to see the same tour still being offered for sale when we were asked to cancel. I feel if it was a genuine issue - the tour operator should have cancelled and arranged the refund themselves, rather than us having to do it.

5.00My family of four really enjoyed this tour. We liked seeing Lucca and the winery that we visited was super great and had great wine and food. Pisa was kind of a quick stop but we had been there before anyway.

5.00Our cruise ship docked in Livorno for the day and we chose this tour to primarily visit a winery and to see the Leaning Tower in Pisa. There was initially some confusion on where the Viator app told us to meet our guide (Marco) so we spent about 30 minutes sorting that out. From there, we traveled in a nice, comfortable van to the town of Lucca where we got to spend about 3 hours roaming around on our own. Marco gave us some great suggestions of things to do and the time went by quickly in this wonderful little town. We were not sure what to expect but we really enjoyed our time there and would consider coming back in the future. From Lucca, it was a short drive to a small, privately owned vineyard/winery where we got a tour of the grounds and quick overview of the wine making process. We then enjoyed an outdoor lunch and wine tasting right by the vineyard which was fantastic. We were the only 4 guests on the property at the time so the experience, service, and atmosphere were absolutely incredible. We opted to purchase additional wines to taste which were great and quite reasonable. From there, we headed to Pisa to view the Tower. There is not enough time on this particular tour to go up into the tower so after spending 30 minutes taking the obligatory pictures and getting a gelato, we were on our way back to the port. The area in Pisa around the Tower is definitely crowded so we could really appreciate the peaceful experience we had at the winery just a short time before. Marco was able to drive us right to our ship which was very convenient. Overall - the tour company (Autoserviz DB Tuscany) did an amazing job and we would not hesitate to use them again on future trips to the area.

4.00Marco seemed a little tired the day we had him. He was polite but only forthcoming with information when asked. Very knowledgeable. Lots of time to shop around Luca, perhaps a little bit too much time. The wine tasting was superb so interesting and so much fun. Great wine great food.

4.00The tour was amazing, the City of Lucca was beautiful and could have spent all day here exploring, the winery was a lovely little family run farm, not pretentious at all with lovely nibbles and wine. We stopped in Pisa for a short time, just enough time to get a pic of the leaning tower which was fine for us. The only reason I couldn't give this a 5/5 was due to the lack of pickup from our hotel, we didn't realise this was a port trip when booking, which we over-looked but then the pickup and drop off point was a gas station outside of the port which was very difficult to get to from our hotel and ended up costing us another 60 euros in taxis. other than that if you are coming off a ship, fantastic and would recommend.
