Verzenay
After the pick up at the clients' accommodation in the center of Paris between 7:00 and 7:30am, the minivan is heading to Champagne. A French light breakfast will be served on board. The ride in a minivan Mercedes lasts around 2 hours before arriving at the pitturesque village of Verzenay. Then in the vineyards, the guide explains works throughout the 4 seasons from the pruning to the grapes harvest, then visit at a small champagne producer's where a vintner shows how to transform grapes into champagne. Following a session of tasting for at least 3 champagnes. Then the minivan is heading to Reims for lunch, it would take 30 minutes.
Reims
Lunch at the restaurant "Au petit comptoir". Every day, the chef cooks only 8 dishes with fresh and seasonal products, 3 starters, 3 main courses and 2 desserts. Up to the guests to choose the 3 course menu ! The chef can accommodate special diet and allergy. Lunch is included with a glass of red wine or wihite wine, mineral water, coffee or tea.

5.00Our guide Trong was exceptional, as he is a local from Champagne. His passion and understanding of this area made the tour even more than expected! The local market distillery, the visit to Reims Cathedral and the more commercial Pommery distillery were soooo enjoyable. In the chalk caves under Pommery , many surprises await!! Must do tour 🥂

5.00Amazing experience. We had a wonderful time learning all about the champagne region and learned a lot from a local. It was great escape from the city of Paris that included champagne tasting as well as an exquisite lunch. Our guide, Truong, was very knowledgable and accommodating. Highly recommend

5.00My wife and I had a great time on this tour. The guide Trong picked us up in a minivan with A/C from our hotel. Breakfast consisted of some pastries, coffee, OJ and water. Nothing fancy but the pastries were delicious and we didn’t have empty stomachs for champagne tasting. We met another nice family already in the van and were on our way to the Champagne region. We stopped at one champagne house where we learned about the process of making champagne and bottling it. We were able to purchase champagne and other availed items to bring back to the states with us. Next we had a nice big lunch at a local restaurant. The food was very good as well. We then walked around Reims for a bit before heading to another champagne house that had a very interesting and fun tour. We spent quite a bit of time at this one but we had a great time. After it was time to go back to the hotel. It really was a whole day adventure from 7am to 7pm. The guide has an accent but speaks English well. If you take this tour and have any issues understanding him, please do not hesitate to ask him to clarify or repeat himself. He will not be bothered by it as he wants you to have the best experience possible.
Communication/coordination between Viator agent and tour operator in Paris

4.00The coordination for pickup and drop off were poor. The hotel was not aware that we were to be picked up at that location. In fact, the receptionist was rude to us until he realized that we were legitimate. Mr. Ngyuen was not aware that we were being picked up at a hotel different from where we were staying. On return, he took us back to Hotel du Calvados before being told that we were staying at the Marriott Ambassador in the Opera district. Mr. TN was very good, so we enjoyed the day, but start and finish were not smooth thanks to the poor coordination by your agent in Paris. Please improve the coordination procedures so that future travelers are not impacted.
