It is an impressive day of hiking in the Cordillera Vilcanota, "which is very close to the highest and sacred mountain in the South of Peru called the Ausangate (6,377mts). This "Apu" bearer of life is the Guardian of one of the most pristine ecosystems in the world. Thus, our walk will be accompanied by snow-capped peaks, glaciers, herds of llamas and alpacas. This hike offers a selection of wildlife and very impressive landscapes. This will probably be one of the best things you will see in your visit to Peru.

- We will pick you up at your respective hotel at 4:30 AM, and then begin our incredible adventure driving 2 hours in our mobility through the South Valley until we reach the town of Cusipata, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast, then we will continue our Travel to the trailhead (4,326m / 14,189ft.) where the last reaches will be given to finally begin a walk of approximately 2 hours for a moderate climb. - At approximately 10:30 we will arrive at our destination called Vinicunca or the Rainbow Mountain (5,020 m / 16,466 ft.). Here you will have enough time to enjoy this unique landscape than geography. - After our visit to the mountain of colors we will return to the starting point, where our private transport will be waiting to take us back to the town of Cusipata, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch, and after a short break we will undertake the return trip to Cusco arriving at approximately 4:30 pm.

5.00Between the altitude and the view, my breath was taken away more than once. But reaching the top and seeing that colorful mountain was a moment I’ll never forget. The guide was kind and attentive, and the food stops were a nice bonus. If you're in Cusco, don’t miss this!

5.00Did the Rainbow Mountain tour with friends and it was epic! 🌈 We laughed, struggled, and finally reached the top together ,the view was jaw-dropping. The guide shared some cool Inca history along the way, and the photos we took look like something out of a fantasy world.
10/10 day!

5.00I didn’t think I could make it to the top, but the guide cheered us on every step. Once we arrived, I almost cried , the colors, the altitude, the silence. It’s more than just a mountain; it’s a spiritual experience. ❤️

5.00The tour was well-organized, we had breakfast at a small local place, and then headed out. The hike was hard, but they offer horses if you need help. The mountain view literally made me tear up. So beautiful.

5.00The Rainbow Mountain really lives up to the hype. It’s a tough hike, especially early in the morning, but our group helped each other along the way, and it made the experience even more special. The guide even brought cocoa leaves to help with the altitude, lifesaver!

5.00I had my doubts about waking up at 4 AM, but this tour made it absolutely worth it! The Rainbow Mountain was breathtaking , the colors were unreal, and the air up there felt so pure. Our guide was super supportive, especially when the altitude hit me a little. Don’t forget warm clothes, snacks, and lots of water!

5.00I went on this tour with my son. 👩👦 We took it slow, and the guide checked on everyone regularly. We made it to the top together and it was such a proud moment. The mountain is even more beautiful in real life!

5.00Be prepared , the hike is no joke. 😅 The altitude hits hard, even for fit hikers. But the guide was very supportive, and there were horses available if needed. The scenery is mind-blowing!
