It was a very informative and pleasant activity. Giaccomo and the bus driver are fully up to it. Thanks for the historical information about the area. Each tasting was very interesting but with a crush in Montalcino On the other hand it is a very long and tiring day. Tuscan wine is a true sin that leads us to hell... pure pleasure I suggest you hand in a little map of Montepulciano because getting lost there is very easy.

It's the most beautiful tour I've ever taken. There is nothing better than Tuscany, to feel involved in the culture of that beautiful country. But I was shocked by Pienza, I didn't stop feeling like I was walking behind pictures.

My friend and I joined this tour on August 31, 2025. While we enjoyed the experience itself and loved our guide, Sebastiano, we had a very negative experience with the organizers, Ciao Florence. Before booking, we saw the website note that the final stop is sometimes Montepulciano and sometimes Montalcino. Since we were planning to stay overnight in Montepulciano after the tour concluded, I contacted Ciao Florence well in advance to confirm where the tour would end. They didn’t reply at first, but a few days before the tour I followed up and then finally received a message from them saying: “It seems that, on that day, Montepulciano will be the last stop.” On the day of the tour, however, our guide informed us that the tour would end in Montalcino due to a major festival in Montepulciano, something the company clearly should have known about. When we asked them to arrange or cover the cost of a transfer to Montepulciano, they denied giving us the wrong information and refused to take responsibility, even after I sent them a screenshot of their own message. Their excuse was that the word “seems” had been used in their reply. As a result, we were left with no choice but to pay €80 out of pocket for a private car, which was almost impossible to find with such short notice on a Sunday. The lack of accountability and unwillingness to help resolve a problem caused by their own misinformation was incredibly disappointing. We do not recommend booking with Ciao Florence and suggest looking for a more reliable company.
