5.00We had an incredible experience with Yasmeen Abu Raqiqah as our guide and Ahmed as our driver. Yasmeen did a fantastic job walking us through the museum, explaining the most important pieces, and making everything interesting, seamless and easy. I would HIGHLY recommend booking and requesting Yasmeen for your tour!

5.00Had a wonderful morning with my tour guide Hany Mubarak. I was picked up on time by my driver (after being contacted by WhatsApp previously) and we met Hany on route to the museum. Hany was friendly, professional and knowledgeable, plus gave me my own time to explore the museum at my leisure afterwards before we finished. Would definitely recommend especially if travelling solo.

5.00Our tour guide was amazing and that really made the tour Memorable for us. It’s was our first time in Egypt we decided to book through Viator. Our guide was Amr Moses. He spoke very well English and had really good photography skills. I would definitely book another tour with him again.

1.00This was absolutely the biggest waste of money the entire time I have been in Egypt. For $247 this was extremely disappointing. The title is also misleading, it list the solar boat and king tut as if it’s not part of general admission. The Museum was absolutely amazing and gorgeous. Whenever I go away I prefer a guided tour so someone can explain the history and culture to me, things I wouldn’t know by looking at artifact's. The driver picked us up and then drove us to pickup our tour guide, he was friendly and nice but came off lazy. It was extremely disappointing because I’ve been dying to go to the museum, I love ancient Egyptian culture. When we entered our guide “Hany” explained the breakdown of the museum and where things are located and took some Photos of us in front of the giant statue at the entrance. He suggested we start with the solar boat. Once we reached the area with the solar boat. Hany said I’ll be outside while you guys go up and look around. I’m like ummm ok. Maybe he didn’t want to walk all the way up, I am not sure. However, it was off putting. We finished and went to the area with the 12 corridors where all the pieces are held. When we reached the entrance he again explained the layout and stated I’ll be outside by the giant statue when we walked in. I asked are you not going to come with us as our tour guide? He said ohhh if you want I will come. He came and explained a few pieces and the disappeared. With what we paid for a private tour this left us feeling like we were swindled. It was so bad we had other tour guides offering to escort us around the museum. It was also extremely upsetting because approximately 75% of patrons were going through the museum with their tour guides and the one we paid was no where to be found. We made it from corridor 2 through 7 and entered the king tut area before he text me asking if we made it to the king tut area and that he’s sitting right outside. At this point we were like we could’ve just paid $13 each for entry and $5 in an uber and saved over $200. Also the way the roof of the main lobby like area of the museum is built. When it rains it rains in parts of the museum and we ending up getting covered in mud. All in all 0/10 do not recommend! All the guided tours I took while in Cairo was top tier and amazing. Only reason this isn’t 0 stars is because he did buy a cake at the end of the tour for my birthday. However, the tour was non existent.

4.00Friendly good communication skills and knowledgeable .We stopped for coffee and snacks which was not part of the tour. He was happy to wait for us. The driver was equally good. He drove safely most of the way
