  Fantastic tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum! Ayoub was outstanding, his knowledge of Egyptian history was exceptional and he enhanced our enjoyment of the artifacts greatly. Without his expert guidance we would not have been able to appreciate the grand sweep of Egyptian history. Additionally, driving in Cairo is chaotic at best. Our driver Mohamed calmly and professionally got us safely there and back.

  We had a great driver and a guide, Mina, from this experience. We were picked up on time, provided drinks and snacks, and enjoyed a meal in a local restaurant. Mina was enthusiastic and informative, showing us important pieces in the collection and sharing the long history of Egypt. The museum had 12 galleries and the grand staircase open and more will be added as exhibits are transferred from the old museum in Tahrir Square. The collections will be improved when the King Tut exhibits are finally opened. It was a good tour that will improve when more is complete at this complex. By the way, the museum gift shop has some quality items at reasonable prices.

  We started the day early at 9am to beat the crowds. The GEM museum is brand new with some new exhibits opening as recently as this past month. From pick-up to drop-off, the tour company Provided an excellent service. Our guide, Moses was very detailed and walked with us through the entire museum.

  We had a private car with driver and our guide Moses, we loved all aspects of our day. We toured the pyramids and Sphinx, took a 15 minute camel ride, ate Egyptian buffet lunch, toured GEM, and did some specialized shopping of essential oils, papyrus, and jewelry. The driver was excellent and kept us very safe. Moses was a well educated Egytologist with 20 years of experience. He was very knowledgeable and exceptionally professional plus a great personality and good sense of humor. The camel ride is a must do, they walk you out to the pyramids for a once in a lifetime experience and photos. We learned a lot which was helpful and interesting before embarking on a 10 day tour and River Nile cruise. We highly recommend - book now, no need to look elsewhere.
