Ha Giang

Hanoi-Ha Giang City by limousine van (pick up at your hotel at 6:30 AM) The van ride from Hanoi will take around 6 hours; you will then have lunch before beginning the tour at 2:00 PM. Ha Giang City; Heaven Gate; Tam Son; and Nam Dam Village. During your first day, you will see a big change in the scenery when you drive into the mountains, before the town of Tam Son. The drive continues towards the village of Nam Dam, where you will spend the night. You can enjoy the village and relax before your next day full of adventures.

Ha Giang

Visiting Ha Giang city which covers an area of 135.33 km² and has a population of around 70,000 inhabitants. 22 different ethnicities live here, the majority (~50%) being Kinh and Tày people.

Quan Ba Heaven Gate

With a height of more than 1500m and located about 43km from Ha Giang city, this place is also the beginning of another famous place “The road of happiness” and is the first gateway to enter the Dong Van Ky rock plateau.

Ma Pi Leng Pass

On the second day, the road takes you through the Karst Geopark. The Dong van Karst Plateau is a major geohistorical site in Vietnam. You will see a lot of rice fields, thousands of limestone rocks, and magnifiscent views. People will be working on the land, and you can catch a glimpse of life on the countryside. The driver can also take you to the Chinese border and the famous northernmost viewpoint in Vietnam. On this day, you will also stop at the famous Ma Pi Leng pass, where you can see the Nho Que river underneath. Just after that, you will drive into the town of Meo Vac. Here you can relax, enjoy a delicious Vietnamese dinner, and spend the night.
