We went on the hairy coos trip with Paul S as our guide (the supergalactic one). We didn't really know what to do for the day, which is why we booked this trip. This trip is a really nice way to fill in your day if it's rainy or sunny! We really enjoyed our guide Paul S, he is a wholesome and funny dude who made the trip worthwhile. The bus ride was really entertaining because of Paul. He had lots of interesting facts and stories to tell. We felt safe in his bus. And even though the weather was a bit crappy and rainy, the activities and stops were suitable for this day. The tour itself was nice and we saw a lot of the rough Scottish landscape. Long story short; we enjoyed this day and we recommend this tour! P.S. Paul, we hope you got to photograph the northern lights and my dad confirmed it was a merganser (bird)! Thank you for a great day.

Fun day trip to see the Hairy Coos and a whisky distillery! Paul S was a wonderful tour guide/ bus driver. If you want a taste of the highlands without spending 12 hrs on a bus, this is the tour to do it!

We had an amazing one day trip away from the city! Our guide Jason was so kind and funny, and gave us a lot of so interesting explanations of his country. I chose that trip because I didn’t want a 12h trip on one day, and I think it was the perfect timing. Highly recommended if you wanna taste a bit oh highlands (of Scottish whisky too!), cuddle some hairy coos, and spend some time in nature.

It was a super fun day with Michael. He provided a lot of valuable information in each stop. I particularly enjoyed the Distillery tour and the encounter with the Highland Coos! ❤️

Great little tour away from the city! A nice sample of what's out there without lingering too long. Plenty of opportunities for breaks and Ewen did a great job giving us some history along the way; I especially appreciated hearing some Scottish music. I also liked the drive we took through a couple small villages! I will cautious those who get car sick that I did start to feel it on the final stretch toward the turn around destination so I'd recommend prepping for that. It wasn't too bad but the road does get bouncy for a bit

Jason, our guide, was very informative and very pleasant. He sincerely strived to make the trip a fun day for everyone. My daughter and I would have liked a bit more time with the cows but all in all it was great.

Brilliant day from start to finish. The tour was a great length. The whisky tour to Deanston distillery was brilliant, visiting the coos was lovely and so nice that Jason provided some tasty veg to give them. The drive to Loch Katrine was spectacular. The coach was so comfortable and very clean. The driver guide Jason was a great driver, full of fun stories and facts along the journey. Highly recommend this tour!

It was "magic" like they say in Edinburgh (so they told us). Our busdriver and guide was David.Amazing person, lots of knowledge and even more fun to listen to. We learned a lot of scotlands history ( also the parts they dont tell you in movies like "braveheart" or else.) I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR. And back in Edinburgh after a fantastic day we even had a bus-e-oke (karaoke on the bus😁) "We will walk 500MI👍👍👍

My friend and I went on the 'Hairy Coos & Highland Views' tour yesterday (6th November) and were honestly disappointed. I'd like to preface this by saying that our tour guide, John, was funny and knowledgeable. However, the sites we visited were underwhelming considering we were in Scotland. We visited Blackness Castle and were there for an hour. If you're an Outlander fan, I think you would love the castle, but we found it very small and ran out of things to do quickly. We had been told it would be a 45 minute stop, opposed to an hour. The next stop we had was at Loch Katrine, with our guide giving us an hour and a half there. Unfortunately, we arrived there at 2:10 and so were unable to do the river cruises (which were 45 minutes long and departed every hour), and when we asked to hire bikes, were told that they were unavailable because of various reasons. We walked around the loch, which was stunning, and then went to the cafe - but were so disappointed that we hadn't arrived in time for the boat cruises and weren't able to ride bikes around the loch. An hour and a half seemed like a very long stop considering there were minimal activities. On the way back to Edinburgh, we did meet some 'Hairy Coos', however there are only 3 of them to see and on the day we visited, only 2 came out to greet us. Please also keep in mind that while it says you'll arrive back at 5PM, we only arrived back in Edinburgh at 5:40PM. My friend and I were honestly disappointed. We felt that time was not allotted well.
