God’s handiwork at the Summit, driver not our favorite

3.00The sunrise at the summit was breathtaking. Our driver, Marlon, not so much. First bathroom stop, We were rushed into the bus only to be held hostage while the stood up front and talked AT us for 5 more minutes. He then hustled us up the hill at the Summit but unlike other drivers, didn’t stay nearby or offer to take any photos. I overheard other guides giving landmarks and pointing out constellations then taking pics of their groups at sunrise. Too Much Narration And unnecessary droning on about anything and everything. He has two verbal repetitive words which increased our inability to enjoy the trip. He says “right?” At the end of every and all statements. He says “guys” in every sentence. Even after he told us he was going to stop talking he KEPT TALKING!!! He droned on for about 5 hours. He was a pleasant man but this made the trip almost unbearable. I wouldn’t do this again, I would make a park reservation and drive myself. Perhaps the vendor could pre-record the history of Hawaii to ensure a more accurate and pleasantly narrated story through the speakers.

5.00This was an amazing excursion with an amazing driver, who was very knowledgeable about the area and we learned a lot from him. This is a definite must when you’re in Maui to do the sunrise at the volcano was absolutely amazing and our pictures were out of this world l.. It was just perfect.
Your trip to Maui is not complete without a Haleakala Sunrise

5.00You can't go to Maui and not experience this culturally significant and beautiful display. Dress warm! Our guide Bill was great and made sure we got the absolute best spot to view the sunrise!

5.00We took the tour to the top of Haleakalā. Road was less scary than I imagined but windy! The top was amazing and spectacular! Absolutely beautiful! The way down was just as beautiful. Tour guide Trever did a great job giving us details of Maui! Loved the experience!
