Harrison's Cave Eco-Adventure Park
Explore the geological wonder that is Harrison’s Cave. In the heart of Barbados, sits this historic cave discovered in the 18th century. Board their electric trams and travel underground discovering the natural stalactites and stalagmites in their quirky formations like The Village, The Great Hall and The Altar. Allow yourself to be dazzled by the naturally flowing streams and waterfalls and crystal clear pools as you navigate through the deep crystallized limestone cave.
Barbados Wildlife Reserve
As you take a leisurely stroll through the four acres of forest, admiring the view and the especially fresh air, you’ll get the chance to get up close and personal with the charming animals. From the famous Barbadian Green Monkey, to the deer, mara, tortoise and beautiful peacocks roaming the grounds, there’ll be no limit to friends you can make. As you continue along the winding brick path you may find yourself in the aviary, admiring the breathtaking parrots and macaws or in the Reptile house, where you can become close acquaintances with the snakes, if you so desire.

4.00Excellent tour and our guide Dwayne was brilliant. My criticisms would be: 1. The booking process was not very good. I called to book Caves and Critters but received a confirmation for Harrison Caves only. It wasn't easy to resolve but we got there in the end. 2. The tour was rushed at the beginning due, I think, to the timings at Harrison's Cave so an earlier pick up would have been better (it was pushed to 10am from 8.30am which didn't help of course). Also I was told when booking that there was a drive along the East Coast only to find out on the morning this wasn't going to happen as the road is undergoing construction works. So the trip was cut short at the end. Left me feeling a bit short changed. Anyway, in summary, an enjoyable trip let down by the booking process and inaccuracies with the itinerary.

5.00It’s a bit of a drive from the cruise port but seeing the cave was well worth the effort. Totally fun to see the monkeys! I am so glad we had a driver to navigate the roads. Mark did a great job navigating us to our destination

3.00I was very unimpressed with the operation at Chuka. We had a tram time to view the caves at 2 PM and did not get on our tram to 2:45 PM because apparently there was a lack of tour guides. The tour itself was about 40 minutes and We were guest off the cruise ship so had to be back by 5:30. The location was about 45 minutes from the pier so by the time we got back, it was 430 which was pushing it. Since we were behind schedule we were not able to even view the birds which was supposed to be a part of our paid tour as well. The driver was excellent no issues with him, but I was very disappointed that we paid for a tour that we were not able to fully complete.

5.00It was exactly as expected. Very good. Particularly, the wonderful driver, Michael. The caves were special and the monkeys numerous.
The long trip to Harrison Cave and the wildlife preserve was worth it!

4.00The cave and critters tour was wonderful. We arrived just in time for the monkey feeding experience. (Our tour guide couldn’t have timed it better). I love animals and it was awesome to be right there with monkeys, tortoises, and birds. We didn’t touch (but were close enough to. Signs warned of the danger of bites.) Harrison Cave is beautiful and fascinating. It was a little difficult to hear/understand our guide at times. SunTours was great picking us up at the hotel and getting us to where we needed exactly when we needed to be there. I had hoped and expected to get more information from our driver as we drove to and from the hotel to the two locations. It seemed like a great opportunity to hear about the island and the areas we were passing through. He pointed out one, maybe two items.

5.00Absolutely amazing tour. Dane was the best. If you can book with him, you will be in for a real treat. Super knowledgeable, funny, and willing to let you take your time at each stop. We will be booking another trip with him.

5.00We were really fortunate to be the only 2 and have our own tour with Ryan who was super nice. We enjoyed both the wildlife reserve and the cave tour. We were there for one of the two feedings of the monkeys and one even jumped up onto my shoulder to eat his snack! Loved it! The drive up we saw the west side of the island and the drive back the east. It was a great way to see beautiful Barbados.

1.00We were excited to see the monkeys, and we confirmed before booking that the nature reserve would be open, considering it was New Years Day. We got there and it was closed. Since it was closed, we wanted to just go back to the ship, but the tour operator lied to us and told us that there was a gas leak and it would be open later. Of course this was a blatant lie, but unfortunately we believed him as he drove us around the island wasting our day until mid afternoon when (of course) he told us that the nature reserve would stay closed. We have zero trust in this company.
