This week’s Haunted Montreal Pub Crawl (November 16) comes with a twist. You’ll visit two haunted pubs to share spirits with a spirit and head out on a short walking tour through the neighbourhood to uncover more haunted drinking spots, including the most haunted building in Downtown Montreal.

Montreal has a lot of haunted drinking establishments to enjoy a few drinks while soaking in the paranormal, from fancy nightclubs, venerable burlesque halls and dive bars to ancient inns, brew-pubs, taverns, emporiums and other drinkeries!

Montreal is clearly the best metropolis to mix booze with creepy ghost stories, an ideal place to pour back some libations while pondering the city’s brutal and sordid past and the ghosts that resulted from the worst of crimes and circumstances.

This was a fun way to grab a few drinks but also hear some "fun" stories about our city. I say "fun" because ghost stories, history and true crime are a good time for me lol Our guide was great. He knew a ton of interesting history, was personable and fun to chat with.

Minimum walking Some stairs in the pubs Pg 13 but they can clip those parts Will go again on an another tour

I participated in the August 10, 2025 Haunted Montreal Pub Crawl and had a great time! Jason was an excellent and entertaining tour guide and story-teller! We also had a great group of people on the tour and everyone was very engaged in the ghost stories. I would definitely do this again.

Had to cut our time with the crawl short due to an emergency but Jason was one hell of a guide! He was very theatrical, very entertaining, immensely knowledgeable & conscientious. We enjoyed our experience & will definitely book with this company should we find ourselves in Montreal again.

A fantastic and detailed ghost tour. It was a rainy day and the ambience was perfect. Jason gives you his all. It was so informative am doing my own research. Jason is just awesome.

What to expect when you go and tour the pubs to find the ghost? An afternoon of entertainment and a knowledge guide who is friendly, fun and makes the past come alive. Anton was great.

The storyteller is very entertaining and knowledgeable. It's a unique activity in downtown Montreal that lasts a few hours and features three different pubs, all within a short walking distance. If you enjoy ghost stories, pubs, and a laid-back experience, then I highly recommend it - locals included! Montreal certainly has a spooky side and this is the perfect opportunity to learn all about these stories.

Jason entertained us for 2.5h with (researched) stories of hauntings in Montreal - enough to give you the hibbie jibbies and possibly not sleep for the rest of your life. He did voices and acted - all to add to the story! Each pub visit didn't feel rushed - you have plenty of time to order a drink and go the restroom without missing a beat! Recommended :)

We booked a private pub crawl for my sister's bachelorette party and it was the highlight of the trip! It was right on theme- 'Til Death Did Us Part-y. Jason did a fantastic job detailing a wide variety of ghost stories and encounters. We were hooked from the beginning and learned so much about Montreal history. Jason was so entertaining and really knew how to tailor the show to us. We even got a surprise story from one of the managers from Hurley's who shared his own experience with a ghost right where we were sitting upstairs. I cannot recommend this pub crawl enough!!!
