Iconic district in the north of Paris, Montmartre is nicknamed the “Village”. Famous for the great number of artists mainly painters who lived in its steep cobble-stone streets, Montmartre is currently one of the most visited areas in the City of Lights. This is why we offer to show you the real local side of Montmartre taking through the little local streets.
Moulin Rouge
Our tour begins opposite a quintessential Parisian landmark: the Moulin Rouge windmill. We’ll start the climb up the hill, spotting the café where the film Amélie was shot and Van Gogh’s home as we go. Our first stop will be at one of Paris’ best bakers, winner of many prestigious prizes for its bread and pastries. Here we will taste one of France’s most famous patisserie: a deliciously buttery croissant. Is there any better way to start your morning in Paris?

5.00Had a wonderful walking tour with Max. He somehow managed to pick routes that avoided 90% of the crowds in the afternoon. He was really knowledgeable about the area as a former resident. Magically, he brought us up to the cathedral just as the sun was setting and through a back garden with very few tourists. This was so much more than a walking tour - he focused a lot on the art and the artists, along with their techniques and how the art landscape was changing over the decades.
