The visitor center in National Park is currently closed for renovation.

Easy tour - Involves walking over relatively level terrain, possible gravel or uneven ground in some areas. Lava tube is .4 of mile long with descending and ascending steps. Comfortable walking shoes & light jacket recommended
WHEELCHAIR / WALKER or SCOOTER ? We must know prior to the tour date if you are bringing a mobility device in order to accommodate. (Please add note to comments box) The mobility unit must not exceed 45 lbs. For various reasons our guides cannot assist with mobility units. Guests must have someone with them to move the mobility device in and out of the vehicle. Our vehicles do not have a lift, so any mobility device must be collapsible to fit through the mini bus doors which is 32” wide.
Mobility Restrictions: Mobility devices cannot go into the lava tube, a trail to the crater is dirt path. Trail to black sand beach in ok but the beach is sand. Customers can stay in the vehicle at any time if they wish. Call us if you have further questions.

Banyan Drive
Our first path drives us down Banyan Drive known as the "Hilo Walk of Fame" for the banyan trees planted by celebrities, such as Babe Ruth and Franklin Roosevelt and many others. These trees have withstood several tsunamis that have devastated the town of Hilo
Lili'uokalani Gardens
This is the largest Japanese garden outside of Japan donated by Queen Liliʻuokalani in 1917. Throughout the gardens are stone lanterns, gazebos, and torii gates, recalling the Japanese immigrants who came to Hawaii.

2.00Overall the tour and what you get to see was good. The reason only 2 stars is because this company over books their tours and when me and my husband went to get on the bus there was no way we could sit together but only single sits available here and there, when I asked the girl in charge of our tour if we would be sitting this way the whole tour or be able at some point to sit together she said more than likely not able to sit together and there was nothing she could do about because her job was just to drive us, she had a bad attitude and horrible customer service. Did not put our tour off to a good start.

5.00This is a great tour for Pride of America cruisers visiting Hilo! If you aren’t looking for a day of hiking or just shopping near the port and want to see a little bit of everything with a knowledgeable guide, this is the one to book. We were traveling with a group of friends, we all booked separate reservations for the same time and they accommodated us very easily! We contacted ahead of time and they were sure to put us all on the same small group together for the day.

5.00This tour was absolutely worth every dollar. Our guide, Robert, was incredibly informative and knowledgeable about the island and Hawai’i overall. His upbeat, positive personality made the experience fun and engaging, and we even learned several Hawaiian words along the way. The bus was clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned, and we appreciated being part of a smaller group of around 24 guests. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time at each featured landmark and stop. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it.

5.00Great execution with Hannibal. 5 stars very knowledgeable and funny! Went to but farm and got to see the volcano. Only thing that would have made it better is if the volcanoes would have been spewing lava.

5.00Travel with Robert who knew the area well. Was great to see the volcano, but it wasn't spouting at the time. But we also saw fizzles, steam vents and lava tunnel. Lunch at the macadamia farm was great
