This is a cycling guided tour in which participants ride an electric bicycle and hear the story of the reconstruction of the bombed heritage sites and how we are trying to protect peace in the city of Hiroshima. The tour is led by a friendly team from Hiroshima. This tour is an English guided tour.
・Learn about local feelings towards the Peace Park from about 70 years ago.
・The area within a 2.5km radius from the hypocenter was severely damaged. We are heading to multiple bombed heritage sites that still remain.
・You will ride a comfortable electric bicycle to the local area, which is not only known for the Hiroshima Peace Museum.
・We will take you to unique places well-known by the local Japanese team.
・We will ride along the beautiful riverside and in the park to get an idea of the destruction of Hiroshima at that time and how it has changed into what it is now.

If you are late for the meeting time without prior notice, the tour will be cancelled. In such cases, a 100% cancellation fee will be incurred on the day of the tour and is non-refundable.
In addition, even if you contact us in advance, it may be canceled due to the convenience of other customers.
Participation requirements ： Adult bicycle (electric): Height 145 cm or more
Bicycle with seat for children (electric) : Infants' ride here are free of charge.
Children's bicycle (cross bike type): 2 Children's bicycles* for one booking are available. Children under age 15 can use both children's bicycles and adult bicycles at child rate. (For children of height 110 cm to 145 cm)
Bicycle with seat for infants (electric) and Children's bicycle (cross bike type) are limited, so please contact us before making a reservation if you wish.
Bicycles with seats for children (electric) are for children under 22 kg and under 115 cm.
If the number of seats for infants and children's bicycles are full reserved, children of heights who cannot use adult bicycles may not be able to participate. After making a reservation, we will contact you after checking the stock of the bicycle.

It will be a mixed tour for up to 10 people.
The timetable may change depending on the situation on the day.
Others (exemption from liability): Depending on the weather, etc., it may be canceled for safety reasons.
As this is a shared tour, if there are guests in other groups who are not accustomed to cycling, especially children, we will adjust the pace accordingly. We appreciate your understanding.
Insurance available: Insurance for bicycle accidents (included in price)
If the plan cannot be held due to rain, you can choose to change to the Rainy Day Limited Peace Route or refund the tour. Please select a suitable option.
The tour can be changed to a walking tour for rainy days only. Visit the hypocenter, which was reduced to scorched earth in an instant. Walk around the site with a radius of about 0.5 km to 1 km. If you do not wish to change it, we will offer a refund.

Luggage storage：About luggage, there is no place to leave your luggage at the Rest House. There are coin lockers at the International Conference Center Hiroshima and Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, located a 6-minute walk from the Rest House.

5.00Biking is the absolute best way to experience Hiroshima. Shin was the most amazing tour guide! There was not a question he didn’t know the answer to. His family stories and infectious personality brought the history of the city to life. This tour was easily one of my favorite things I did on my trip to Japan!

5.00I felt a density of time that I couldn't believe was two hours. It was a wonderful tour, going back to the origins of Hiroshima, unravelling its history, and exploring the passage of time before, during, and after the atomic bomb was dropped. Not only listening to the stories, but also enjoying what was said on the cycling site that introduced me to cycling, I felt the difference in height and distance of the land and the memories of what happened there. After the tour, I felt the strength and courage of people, and I felt closer to them by taking a cycling tour of Hiroshima. I think it is a very nice tour where you can get to know Hiroshima from a different perspective from the museum.
Unmissable. Must do. Don’t think, just book. You won’t regret.

5.00This is perhaps one of the best biking tours I’ve ever personally done (and I’ve done a LOT). The guide, Shin, had deeply moving personal experiences, stories and so much wisdom to share. The tour is easy to do - we are supplied with electric bikes. You will gain insights about the bombing, aftermath and local spots affected (away from other tourists). You will get a genuine feel for how people’s lives were affected through personal stories. There are opportunities to ask questions and to take photos. I highly recommend this - trust me, you won’t regret it!!!!

5.00If you ever come to Japan, this is a tour you absolutely must join. When I first arrived in Hiroshima, I had the image of a typical Japanese city with lots of skyscrapers. But after joining the tour, I learned how this city rebuilt itself after the atomic bomb, how every single citizen, the local government, and local businesses contributed to its recovery, and how the cityscape and scenery of Hiroshima today came to be. By the time I left, I felt this city was truly wonderful. I want to come back again!

5.00We took the 11am tour and the 2 hour tour was great. Our guide was called Shin, he bought the history to like. Shin spoke fantastic English and was great and giving the right amount of information together with pictures (including some of his own). E-bikes are easy to use but helps if you know how to ride a bicycle. We really enjoyed this trip and certainly recommend the tour. Big thanks to Shin!

5.00It was a very emotional tour! It was a wonderful tour of Hiroshima, from its origins to its history, what happened in this city, from then to the present, and everything that Hiroshima people thought about. It was two hours of inspiring stories in each place. I was able to ride my bicycle through the city in an exhilarating way and feel the daily life of Hiroshima today. The autumn colors were so beautiful and wonderful. Thank you, Toby, for your guide, for such a deeply moving tour!

5.00Our two hours with Kana on e-bikes, visiting some of the memorable and sobering sites in Hiroshima, were an unforgettable experience. Kana made the whole experience a highlight of our trip to Japan. She even recommended a fantastic place for lunch after we said our goodbyes at the end of our tour. We were four 65-70 year olds who easily mastered the e-bikes as we had some previous experience. We would highly recommend this two hours tour around the Peace Park and other parts of central Hiroshima. As for Kana ….. you are a star 10/10.
