  Excellent tour to a magical island, with Etsko as my guide. We visited all the places I had hoped to see, and more. Etsko is very conscientious as a guide, knowledgeable, and speaks superb English. The weather was perfect, considering it was early December. I recommend the tour highly.

• Don't visit Miyajima on your own - take this tour with Mariko as it's a fascinating place

  Mariko was an absolute joy to have as a guide. We had pretty much no knowledge about Miyajima but a friend of mine had gone there some months ago on her own and loved it. We booked the tour and by luck had Mariko as our guide and she was full of fascinating information and was also so much fun. We learned all about shrines vs temples, about the history of Miyajima, about the deer. In the days following we would visit more shriens and temples and comment about what we had learned and now understood. I met my friend for dinner a few days ago and she knew virtually none of what I had learned from Mariko and was equally fascinated. Don't go on your own - take a tour with Mariko so you can appreciate all the more what you see and experience.

  This was a very interesting and enjoyable trip , with lots of helpful information being provided by our lovely tour guide Etsko. Miyajima Island is a very beautiful place , and we were also very lucky with the weather which enhanced our experience . The island is accessed by a short ferry ride , and then the places of interest can be easily reached by foot , with few inclines to cope with, although there are lots of steps at the main temple .The temples and shrines are very photogenic , and the autumn colours were spectacular .Lovely to see the wild deer roaming around . The trip also included an excellent lunch . Overall , can thoroughly recommend this trip to all .

  Hiro was so lovely! She had fun knowledge of the island and knew the good places to stand for amazing views. We had a wonderful time walking around the major points of the island and going through the museum, learning about the history. Lunch was absolutely delicious! We had a great time, thank you!

  My half-day walking tour of Miyajima Island with Hiro was an absolutely incredible experience. Due to a happy coincidence, it ended up being a private tour just for the two of us, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better guide. Hiro made the entire visit feel personalized, engaging, and truly special. Her knowledge of everything on Miyajima from its rich history and Shinto traditions to the deer and hidden viewpoints were perfect. Hiro's engaging personality made the time fly by. She was the perfect companion throughout the entire tour, striking the perfect balance between informative guiding and friendly conversation. It felt more like exploring the island with a knowledgeable friend than a formal guide. And of course, Hiro instinctively knew all the best spots and angles to capture stunning photos of the island's iconic scenery. Thanks to her, I have a collection of amazing photos that I will cherish forever. I cannot recommend Hiro enough. If you are planning a trip to Miyajima, booking a tour with her is a must.   What an incredible tour and a fabulous guide -Rio! We were lucky to visit this beautiful island on a national cultural day which provided many additional experiences. So many cultural, historical and culinary experiences to appreciate on Miyajima. Rio was so accommodating for all in the group and she clearly wanted everyone in the group to get the most from the day. So generous with her time and knowledge and nothing was too much trouble. One of the best tours I have done and will remember it for many many years . Thank you Rio!!
