  Poor signage at airport. Once at the right bus, it’s slow to sort out the forwarding tickets. Long drive to bus terminal (with the odd hotel stop along the way). Once at the terminal, it’s fairly simple to find the correct small bus for the final leg. Final leg is a bit tedious.

  The bus never showed to pick me to to take me to BSI bus terminal. I scheduled to be picked up at Bus stop 11 at 1pm I went to the location at 12:40p until 145p. Had to make other arrangements to get to DSI. I sent flyers an email and they responded that the driver was there and did not see anyone which I know was not true between the 1240p to 145p. I almost missed my flight! None the less, I paid ~ $41 for the pickup + BSI to REF.

  We explored all options - taxis, private transfers, public buses and Flybus as options to get to Reykjavik from KEF airport. While it seemed pricey, it was the chepaest option. You get on and show your ticket (I think you can buy on the bus too but would advise prebooking) and if you are going further than the bus terminal, you are given a colour coded ticket, so know which shuttle to get on. The shuttle was a bit of a disaster as the plaque said brown line and we were stood in the cold for a while before the driver told us it was the brown and red line. There also wasn't enough space for large cases, so we ended up standing and holding on to our luggage. The journey to the hotel was pretty quick though and our driver pointed us in the direction of our hotel, just around the corner.

  Bus was already waiting for us as we left the airport, just had to show the driver our ticket and he grabbed our bags for us and loaded them into the compartment under the bus.

  I looked at taxis, private transfers, public buses and Flybus as options to get to Reykjavik from the airport. Taxi and private transfers are very expensive and the local bus has no provisions for luggage. That left the Flybus. While it seemed pricey it turns out everything in Iceland is pricey! The folks were punctual, helpful and you get what you pay for. I'm glad we made this choice. One tip, our flight arrived early and check-in was mid afternoon. There are several spots around town where you can store your luggage. After searching I was able to find a hairdressing salon through "Bounce" a block from our lodging that let us store our luggage all day for a nominal charge. We took a taxi there from the bus terminal and explored Reykjavik until check-in. It's worth looking into.

  My grandson and I were staying in Reykjavik for a few days to attend a European Football Game. The transfers to and from Reykjavik were very comfortable and stress free, a most relaxing experience. I would recommend this bus company to family and friends, if they were traveling to Iceland.

  Very convenient way to get to and from the airport. Can add on a pick up and drop off to bus stops near hotels. Highly recommended. Would use them again.

  Fly buses are located just outside the building of the airport and are well visible from far, so we headed to the bus stop even without any direction from anybody despite darkness. Within 10 minutes from taking a seat in a bus we were on our way to Reykjavik. Booking was very simple and our trip was hassle free. I truly recommend.

  Very good experience traveling with flybus. I upgraded my ticket and with transfers, they dropped me right next to my hostel in Reykjavik. Definitely recommend them for your transfer from airport to your accommodation.
