Embark on a 7-hour trek through the lush rainforest. Afterward, we will have some free time to relax in hammocks and rest our legs before continuing our trek for another 3 hours. Along the way, we will encounter farms, waterfalls, and rivers (one of which we will cross via cable car). By around 4 PM, we will reach the Santa Teresa hot water springs, where you can unwind and soak in the crystal-clear pools with varying temperatures. The serene ambiance created by the river and starry skies at night make it the perfect spot to relax.

On the third day, thrill-seekers can partake in zip-lining, which involves riding along four different cables and a suspension bridge for about two hours. We’ll kick off the day with breakfast and then join a reputable operator for this activity. Afterward, we’ll head to the government-controlled hydroelectric station to enter the Machu Picchu National Park, also known as the Machu Picchu Historic Sanctuary, where we’ll savor a fantastic lunch. Then, we’ll trek for three hours alongside the train track to reach Aguas Calientes town by 5 pm, concluding the Inca Jungle Trek. However, the highlight of the trip awaits us – Machu Picchu, the imposing mountain that looms over Aguas Calientes. The picturesque town will serve as the backdrop for our early morning ascent on Day 4, granting us the ultimate reward for our three-day journey.

The most awaited day by all… MACHU PICCHU. You will wake up around 4:00 am to prepare for the hike to the main entrance of Machu Picchu. Each person will be provided with a packed breakfast, and we will begin the half-hour hike to Puente “Ruinas”, After passing the first checkpoint, we will climb the stairs for about an hour to arrive at the main gate of Machu Picchu at 6:00 am. Once inside Machu Picchu, your guide will lead you directly to the ideal place to witness the sunrise and capture photographs. Then, your local guide will give you a tour of the main sectors of the citadel, which will last approximately 2 hours. Throughout this guided tour, you will learn about the history and culture of the Inca Empire.

5.00We were a groupe of 3 doing the tour and got on very well. The guide Johans had an amazing knowledge. We tasted Wild fruits during the walks. He taught us things about plants, birds, animals, insects and so much more, that I would of never known without him. The activities such as rafting, zip Line, hot wather springs, and mountain biking were insane and so much fun. The places we stayed in were very comfortable and clean. The meals we had were just fantastic. The views during the hike were breath taking. That was for sure one of the best experience of my Life. Thank you Johans.

5.00We originally booked to do the Salkantey trek but this was cancelled due to landslides. SAP gave us the jungle trek as an alternative and thanks to our amazing guide Johans we had an incredible time. The activities are really well organised and lots of fun. We particularly enjoyed the hikes where Johans provided expert and detailed knowledge to our group of the local flora and fauna, particularly with the different species of birds. We felt very lucky to have him as our guide as he went above and beyond to make it an incredible experience! we would 100% recommend the tour and particularly with Johans especially if you have a keen interest in wildlife. 5.00What an adventure, it was awesome to spend the past few days not worrying about the planning specifics since it was all taken care of by our guide David. Bring your own toilet paper/wet wipes as not all stops have this available in the restroom. Bring insect repellent and sunscreen as well.... And a rain poncho, for sale $10 Soles at the first stop or buy one in cusco before departure.

5.00Me and my friends thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day inca jungle tour with sap adventures. Everything was really well organised with the itenirary running smoothly and ontime. We were nervous about some of the activeties included in the tour but were reassured by the level of safety, and found all the activity instructors also made it really fun for us as well as safe. Our guide, Amaru was exceptional which is one of the main reasons we loved the tour. He provided a wealth of knowledge on plants we walked past and the history of machu piccu. Amaru also took great care of us all on the tour. We highly recommend the tour as it is a lot of fun, you get to do lots of various activities as well as see machu piccu, and you can meet other travellers.

5.00It was an unforgettable trip. Our guide Amaru was an excellent leader and we loved all the activities. The Inca jungle trek is not easy, you have to be quite strong to do it. That said, it is an incredible experience so everyone should try it.
