The guide will pick you up from your hostel in Cusco at 5:30 am , after a stop in Ollantaytambo we will travel by bus to the highest place of the trip «ABRA MALAGA 4350 meters» over the sea level, the edge of the andians mountains, next to the snow mountain VERONICA and from there we will do downhill in bikes to SANTA MARIA 1800 meters over the sea level, finishing this activity we are ready to have a delicious typical lunch. After a break, we are ready to continue the adventure doing rafting ina river level tree, not too dangerous but not too boring, perfect to have fun and finish the day in a comfortable EcoLodge.

After breakfast the guide will show you the diversity of the jungle plants of the area, then the group will go to Inka Trail where walking starts, it will takes approximately 4 hours through the high forest among the abundance of flora and fauna. In this area is possible to see many types of plants, orchids, birds and other wild animals, a paradise of biodiversity in the Inka jungle. We will continue our walk through the Inka road and by the way we will have lunch made by a local community with fruits and tubers native from the area. Hot springs of Cocalmayo will be the trophy at the end of the path, here we will relax our muscle before to go to the lodge.

Aguas Calientes
At morning, after a good breakfast, we will head toward the nearby zip lining location. Here, we will experience different zip lining routes, cross a suspension bridge, and do some light rock climbing. After this activity, the bus will take us to Hidroélectrica where we will enjoy the lunch. We can relax there for a while, then continue onto the route toward Aguas Calientes. We will walk for about 3 hours and along the way you will encounter beautiful waterfalls, different wildlife, next to the beautiful Urubamba river. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, we will get together in a local restaurant to enjoy a great dinner and have a briefing about our next excursion to Machu Picchu. After dinner, you have free time to explore the city of Aguas Calientes.

The group will wake up early at 4:00am to go up to Machu Picchu, following an ascending route through the high forest, we could have the chance to see the sunrise in the riuns because the purpose is reac machupicchu at 6:00am. The guide will show us the sanctuary for 2 hrs. aprox. then the group will have free time to enjoy Machu Picchu by themselves until 11:30am (6.5 hours in machupicchu). We return by walking (3.5 hours) to Hydroelectric where the car is waiting for us and it will leaves at 3:00pm to return to Cusco city, arriving around 10:00pm. Note: it is possibility to spend one more night in Machu Picchu town paying $30 extra, and return next day(if you want to climb huaynapicchu or Mountain Machu Picchu or stay longer in machupicchu) it is a good idea, or you can add the train back to Cusco instead of the bus and you can stay in machupicchu as long as you can until 5:00pm, the train is faster and more confortable than the bus ride, it just takes 1 hour and 40 min from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo and then our car takes you back to cusco and it takes 1 hour and a half.

5.00Our guide Ebert, was particularly attentive and helpful with my two teenagers and myself. He is a guide who knows his work very well and the notions to transmit. We went on the 4-day Inca hike with him. The activities were quality and safe while being exciting. Thank you very much Ebert, thanks to you we keep a beautiful memory of this expedition and even Peru!

5.00Definitely an extraordinary trip! From your organization to the end. We arrived at this agency and decided to stay thanks to the good management they showed from minute one. Good service and availability at all times. We stayed since March in talks with Mega Expeditions and until the last day of travel they were watching us. We were surprised with a spectacular trip, everything went perfectly and most importantly everything we were promised was fulfilled to the letter! INKAJUNGLE highly recommended! The organiser gave us a super fun and informative briefing before and the tour guide we had was very knowledgable and helpful to the extent that he bought me plasters and antiseptic for my blisters! Felt very safe and in good hands the entire trip. Would highly recommend to anyone up for an adventure and an exhilarating challenge!

5.00Great experience! Everything was taken care of from start to finish, and all I had to do was enjoy my time. Nixon was incredibly responsive and made the planning experience incredibly easy. He was very detailed and helpful in making sure I had clear expectations for the tour. The tour itself was so much fun— we had a great group of people, and the activities were super enjoyable.

5.00Me and my brother we were travelling to Machupicchu last month, however it was not possible because of the strike. But the best part is that Nixon arrange for as a new date, he chage the tickets and the hotel booking without extra cost, just the Machupicchu penalty. And finally we visit Machupicchu in an excellent tour.. Super recommended.

5.004 day Jungle Trek to Machu Picchu was by far the highlight of our Peru trip. I would do this all over again in the future. My recommendation is do Machu Picchu with an agency to make the experience that much more memorable and stress free. Additionally, you will get to meet people from all over the world
