ABOUT THE EVENT Embark on an extraordinary journey with the most famous arias and duets from the greatest Italian operas. Enjoy music from operas such as Le Nozze di Figaro by W.A.Mozart, La Traviata by G.Verdi, Madame Butterfly, Tosca, and La Bohème by G.Puccini and Elisir d’Amore by G.Donizetti, interpreted by professional singers who have performed in the most important Italian and international theaters, performed with piano accompaniment. The evening will be held in the ‘NAZARENA’ Theatre where you will be offered a drink and can take in an extraordinary panorama view of Taormina. The ticket includes a free drink on the beautiful, panoramic terrace. Evening Operas are held on 5 nights every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings at 9.15

Decent sampler of opera

5.00I should start by saying that I'm not knowledgeable about opera. This was a perfect-length sampling of operatic songs sung by a duo. The performance was the right length, at around an hour and 15 minutes. The singers sounded good. I'd have preferred it slightly if all of the pieces were really popular. As it was, I recognized maybe half. At $36, I'm giving it 5 stars.
