  Such a wonderful experience! From accommodating a schedule change due to delayed flights to the educated suggestions and guidance throughout the trip. The views and vistas were unparalleled! Highly recommend downloading the audio gude offered as it enhances understanding and appreciation of the cultre and history of the indigenous peoples. The rollicking group sing along on the way home was the perfect finish to the day!

  It was an excellent day ,the train and sky rail trip was fantastic ,the views from each were spectacular the tour was amazing great day had by all the driver was very informative friendly

• Great railway and Skyrail views with excellent guide, but Kuranda town was disappointing — choose lunch carefully.

  ⸻ We did the Kuranda Scenic Railway and Skyrail tour and overall it was a great experience. Chris was excellent — very entertaining, clear directions and well organised, which made the day run smoothly. The train ride and Skyrail were both highlights, with beautiful views and a really enjoyable journey through the rainforest. Kuranda town itself was a bit disappointing and felt quite run down, with a strong backpacker/hippie vibe. If you’re looking for lunch, I wouldn’t recommend Rainforest View Restaurant — our food arrived in about five minutes, which said a lot about the quality. We’d suggest trying one of the Asian restaurants instead; we stopped at Frog’s for a beer and the food being served looked excellent.

  Our family of 5 did a tour of the Kuranda Skyrail & Scenic Railway tour today. We booked a few months in advance to make sure we didn't miss out. Booking information was clear and booking was super easy. Payment was taken a few days beforehand, plenty of warning in advance to have the opportunity to cancel or change dates & such. I had a couple of questions a few hours before being picked up for the tour from our accommodation & Andrea was super prompt in responding & sorting out my queries. Chris was our tour guide. He was fantastic! Just the right amount of everything guide. Enough information that we were informed about places, history and where to get the best coffee etc, enough space to take in the sights for ourselves and approachable enough if we needed to ask or know more throughout the tour. Overall it was a great day. To ensure you get enough time to shop & meander through Kuranda Village if you choose to go on the 10minute rainforest walks at Red Peak & Barron Falls breeze through, snap your shots and get to Kuranda so you can be picked up & have enough time to grab some food & shop.   Fabulous day with our local guide Peter taking us on the scenic rainforest railway and back on the cable car. Relaxing pace with very good knowledge and local stories and history. Travelled with 16, 17 and 26 year old children all of whom loved it too!

  This trip is well planned. The ride through the rainforest on the scenic railway had some amazing views, as did the Skyrail back down. There is plenty to do in Kuranda and you can get the chance of a photo with a koala too!

  Two very different experiences - a lovely low speed train through beautiful countryside and then the staggering Birds Eye views over the bush canopy on the sky rail. Fun on the bus with fellow travellers too!

  Was such an amazing tour with the best funny informative guide, Chris and his best mate Bosun who was just the best and fab music choices with disco lights in bus , which we all sang along to at end of the day .

  Pick ups at accommodations. Friendly drivers good knowledge of the area. Made to feel welcome. Mini coaches are clean and air conditioned. Tours are well organised. We had; a fabulous driver Chris and his dog. Good sense of humour. The rainforest train and skylift was amazing the scenery was breath taking

  Our tour Chris and his gorgeous dog Bosun made this a memorable trip. Chris has so much local knowledge. Unfortunately the train wasn't running due to urgent bridge repairs but the upside was more time in Kuranda. We thoroughly enjoyed the ride back on the Skyrail and the 2 stops to walk through the rainforest. Finishing off the day with a cocktail and pizza at Palm Cove and a mandatory sign-a-long on the journey back was so much fun. Highly recommend and we will be back next year to experience the train.
