5.00Our guide (Jenny (if my memory is correct, sorry if not)), did an excellent job of showing us the different locations despite the inclement weather. She was very enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. She told stories of the filming but also of her life and how they interacted. She worked hard to tailor the tour to the weather. The group all got on and chatted, so despite the views being obscured by mist and rain, we still had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed it.

5.00Although the scenery was spectacular, our guide, Ginny, was excellent. Even if you aren’t a big fan of LOTR, this is a worthwhile trip.

4.00I really enjoyed our Glenorchy Lord of the Rings tour today with our guide Michael. Knowledgeable, friendly, and really interesting to get insight to some of the local LOTR filming sites. Great for fans of the films to see where it all took place.

5.00It was an unforgettable experience! A memory that will stay in my heart forever — a beautiful tour discovering the locations where some of the most famous scenes from The Lord of the Rings were filmed, accompanied by the guides’ descriptions and behind-the-scenes stories. All of this combined with an exciting off-road ride between the lakeside of Queenstown and the natural parks of Glenorchy. Our guide Jody was fantastic, answering all our questions and curiosities about the locations, the city, and New Zealand culture. Roger, the other guide, is a true expert in everything related to the film and cinema in general, having worked in the industry for years. Overall, it’s an experience I highly recommend to all fans of Tolkien’s and Peter Jackson’s works, but also to anyone who wants to discover New Zealand’s nature and admire breathtaking landscapes.

5.00We loved our tour with Justin. He was incredibly funny, knowledgeable, and kind. We had a fantastic time touring around, taking photos, learning about both the area and even more about LOTR. Cannot recommend this tour or Justin enough!
Our tour guide Kelsey was so knowledgeable about the scenery on the tour. She also has a great sense of humour .

5.00Great locations and excellent tour guide knowledge.Kelsey made the tour fun and lots of laughs to be had by all. Having swords and cloaks to do a bit of role play with during our tour made it so much more fun.
