This family Louvre adventure explores one of history’s most fascinating civilizations: ancient Egypt. This educational program is designed to encourage kids to think like archaeologists by using the Louvre’s world-renowned Egyptian collection to bring people from the past back to vivid life.
Children will explore key areas of Egypt’s civilization such as the Nile River, a scribe’s workshop and a pharaoh’s crypt. In each area, children will learn to engage meaningfully with key objects using a variety of thinking tools to understand what they say about ancient Egyptian beliefs.
Young archaeologists and their private guide will voyage down the Nile. In each area, decode a series of symbols allowing you to proceed to the next stage of the adventure. As a final challenge, learn how to write your name in Egyptian symbols.
Please note that we do not send the tickets in advance. You will acquire the entry ticket to the Louvre directly from the guide.

I never got a response from this vendor and didn’t get the tour. They texted me to change time from 10 am to 2 pm. I told them that new time would not work and I didn’t get rescheduled or responded to

Our guide Julian was top notch! We were two adults and four children (10 and 13 years). Julian made the tour so interesting and funny that it became the highlight of our Paris trip for my daughters. Highly recommended! Thank you very much Julian!

Very kind and passionate guide. Skip-the-line tickets are awesome!!! The museum is a must. Although the guided tour lasts 2 hours, allow several additional hours to do an overview of your areas of interest alone after the visit

Excellent tour guide with Ivan. He was so knowledgeable and took us to key exhibits. After the tour, there was plenty of opportunity to explore on our own and he pointed us the direction of what we wanted to see.

Very nice guided tour! Our guide Jorge made the visit very rewarding. In addition, he has a good sense of humor.

The guide (Jorge and of Cuban origin) did not show up at the point of story, as the other guides were. One kindly led us to where he was, where we found him smoking, which he kept doing while he was introducing himself. All the other guides had already looked out while we were still out, waiting for this gentleman to finish his cigarette. When he decided to start he dedicated himself to giving us data of his life, that if he writes books, that if he is a TV camera, that if he has friends in Tampa......but museum data or the works that are there, nothing. Or, but, macho and stale comments, completely out of character, such as tripping over a woman said he wanted to make sure that if he played, he played "good." Also homophobic, such as the sexual orientation of painters or emperors, going so far as to say literally this phrase: "nothing has to do with tomatoes" and continuous attacks on the church, and I do not mean commenting on historical facts, but on beliefs or themes of faith. And also to charge the people who queue to see the Gioconda, treating them as ignorant, saying that they are not finished because God in creation rested on the sixth day. And I will mention that he asked one of the ladies of the group to lie and say that she had hip surgery, if anyone asked, so that he could use the elevator, since it was the third visit of the day, and he was "fed up". And already the icing on the cake was the description of the works, treating us as ignorant, in fact to enter the gallery of the origin of the Louvre, intended that we hold hands making a circle and walk with our eyes closed. I would never recommend this guided tour to anyone, ever. I think if there was a supervisor watching any of these visits, I would have detected the problem with this guide. In fact the companion who accompanied us to look for him, had a hard time getting him to answer the phone. Painful and regrettable, it is all I can think of to describe the guided tour.

We arrived in time at the meeting point Rue Rivoli 162, and followed all the instructions of the booking. We were informed on site by a member of the UTG staff that there are no more tickets and our tour was cancelled. Apparently, the tickets we had paid for were not bought. Also, we have not received any feedback from customer service yet. We booked through tiqet, but also there got no feedback. I think there's a ploy behind it. Because if you are late, or if you get sick, you don't get any money back for something you wouldn't have gotten otherwise. 180 Euro weg...
