Valley of the Kings
Located in Luxor, Egypt, the Valley of the Kings Temple is an architectural marvel that has stood for thousands of years. This temple was built during the reign of Amenhotep III in the eighteenth dynasty of the New Kingdom, and was used as a place of worship for the gods of ancient Egypt. The temple consists of an intricate network of courtyards, statues, and columns, as well as a variety of artifacts, including a seated granite statue of Amenhotep III and a sphinx. It is also home to many tombs of the pharaohs and their families, including Queen Tiye, wife of Amenhotep III and mother of Akhenaten. Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari
The Temple of Hatshepsut is an ancient Egyptian temple located on the west bank of the Nile in Luxor. The temple was dedicated to the sun god Amun and was built by Hatshepsut, Egypt's first female pharaoh. 5.00Takes you back to another world. The tombs were amazing and temples also. I found Luxor to be such a nice welcoming change from the energy of Cairo. My tour guide Ahmed was the absolute best. So knowledgeable and friendly. Told me all about the history of ancient and current times and also took me to an authentic restaurant to have lunch so definitely recommend him also. Once in a lifetime experiance. Book it now 😊
