Having been to Wellington before, I was looking to do something beyond the city and this half day foodie tour was perfect. Three stops on the tour in three different towns to visit a cheese shop, chocolate shop and winery. Tasting at the chocolate shop was especially fun. Phil was a great guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. He’s thought of everything on this tour, including providing reusable cups for coffee and sick bags for those windy roads. If I’m back in Wellington again, I’ll make sure to go on the full day tour!

I booked this at 930 pm the night before I wanted to go and there was no availability so I was tagged along with a full day tour and picked up and returned to Wellington that afternoon. This was over and above expectations. The tour was amazing Cheese tasting good Chocolate blind tastings so good and a whole lot of fun. Wine tasting at Poppies the best and my cheese platter OMG it was next level delishiousness. I have lost my card to order from Poppies so if you could send it yo me ehen you see this review that would be amazing.... Totally recommend this trip...

Athena was our guide and she was great! It was just myself and my friend on the tour but she was super friendly, really chatty and knowledgeable

We booked this tour a day before and were a little worried if it would still take place. But as soon as we good an email about the trip and all the information everything went smoothly. Phil picked us up in front of the hotel and guided us all around. Such a beautiful and educational experience with personal touch and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I had such a great day out and I appreciate this company’s flexibility in making the day happen for me. The stops are great - the guessing game at Schoc chocolates is a highlight and Poppies’ cheese platter was outrageously good. As are the wines, and I happily bought a glass to go with my cheese platter. The commentary is amusing and thoughtful. Was nice to get out of the city for the day and visit some smaller towns. I really rated this day tour. Thanks!

Despite the rain and windy weather we had the best time. Loved the cheese shop and selection of cheeses for our charcuterie board at Moy Hall winery. The wines are excellent and paired well with the cheeses. It was lovely seeing the town of Martinborough. The chocolate shop with the 12 tastings was a great way to finish the outing.

A must when In Wellington. The guide was informative and gave us plenty of time to see things. The food at Martinborough Vinery was amazing (we had the lamb) and the wines were just as good. The cheese was very good especially the award winning cheese was to die for. Chocolate tasting was fantastic with plenty to taste and buy.

We were disappointed in this tour. Our guide turned out to be just a driver and has only been on the job for a month which meant we had no commentary and he had no idea what he was doing especially toilet stops. At least the cheese tasting stop was the highlight of the day. The wine tasting was average plus we had lunch at this stop which was very expensive. The chocolate tasting was okay - very strange flavours but was very expensive - I personally wouldn't buy at that price. I personally reached out to the owner on the day giving feedback. For what we experienced on the day wasn't value for money
