This was an amazing experience. I highly recommend to anyone curious about the lifestyle and culture of the local Quechua people near Cusco. Ilearned and experienced more than I anticipated. Jane and the local family were so friendly and welcoming. Top rated in my book!

I wasn't quite sure what to expect because I've done these kinds of tours before and and have been usually left less than impressed and a little ripped off. This experience was... absolutely amazing! Definitely amongst the top tours I've ever done. Let's start with the group size - it was just the two of us. You don't feel like you're being herded or seen as just another group of tourists to loosen of their money. Mariluz and her family welcomed us into their home with a song, and then explained the significance of their clothing and hair (different for single vs. married women). After, we had a sampling of traditional Inka meal, and we learned about how wool is cleaned, dyed, woven and then used in textiles. Toward the end, they lead you down to their shop and I thought... Uh oh... This is where the pitch comes... But no! Absolutely no pressure, and their prices are half (or even less) of what you pay in Cuzco. I got an alpaca winter hat for S/ 75. I bought two. And a bunch of other things because I honestly felt like I was ripping them off! If you're interested in buying woven goods, the savings alone (vs Cuzco) will pay for the excursion. We ended up spending 400 soles and I regret not getting more. At the end, they led us out with a song and brought their llamas to say goodbye. Tour guide was top notch, driver was great, experience was unforgettable. Book it now!

Once in a lifetime experience. It was amazing to spend a day with a Quechua family and learn more about the culture. It is a very humbling and educational experience and something I will never forget. We were made to feel right at home and loved the hands on cooking of the pachamanca. The surrounding mountain scenery is very beautiful. Would highly recommend this tour!

Wow! We really didn't know what to expect but this cultural experience with the local Quechua village folks really put our Peruvian vacation over the top. We were so much richer from the experience and have a much deeper understanding and appreciation of the rural Peruvian Andes lifestyle. Our kids learnt so much from this trip. The beautiful women villagers gladly shared with us their traditional way of life that included cooking, weaving, singing, taking care of children, how they dress, how they protect against dangerous wildlife and much more. We are so thankful to Jane Camacho for organizing this and making it one of the best and most memorable vacations for us.

This tour was amazing. The food and hospitality provided was second to none. It was a great learning experience to see how the smaller villages in Peru function. Highly recommend taking the day to enjoy this and disconnect from the larger cities. I'll be back.

It was a really great and insightful experience that I warmly recommend to anyone wanting to delve deeper into the local culture and local traditions while at the same time empowering a family of women and supporting them in keeping traditions alive.

Visiting CcorCcor with Jane as our guide was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Peru. Eric and I are grateful for the generous hosts Mariluz, Tiburcia, and Reyna who taught us so much about traditional Quechua ways. It was beautiful to see the passion in their demonstrations of cooking, clothing practices, weaving, and much, much more. Learning about the importance of the multi-purpose blankets was absolutely stunning - so much so that I jumped at the opportunity to purchase one to bring home. The Pachamanca was also an incredible experience to participate in. We love to travel for food and this was enriching and delicious! We wish we had more appetite to eat more of the feast, however we were still adjusting to the altitude. Booking this Pasitos Andinos excursion was unforgettable and a great opportunity to encourage the community's continuance of traditional Quechua ways.

We booked ourselves on the tour not knowing what to expect apart from having a good feel about it. And how glad we did. The whole experience was absolutely surreal. Meeting the friendly Quechua people and them welcoming us into their village. Jane, our guide, translating for us the knowledge and stories the Quechua people were sharing with us. It was a humbling, inspiring and unmissable experience. If you're only doing one one-day trip out of Cusco, this is it!

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to spend a few hours with Jane and the incredible Quechua women of Chincerro Village. From start to finish we were warmly welcomed and included, feeling like we were amongst old friends and family. The women showed us about their cultural dress, medicinal plants, cooking, dyeing alpaca and sheep wool and making handicrafts. The only problem was it went to quick and I wished I was able to speak with these amazing women, but Jane does an amazing job of translating both ways and involving everyone. This is a great social enterprise with the women and Jane all working together in this project to give the women another source of income without exploitation, Thanks again to Jane and the women of Chincerro who welcomed us so warmly,
