You will need to call 1hr 30mins before the departure time you have booked for. If the weather is suitable you will be picked up from your hotel approximately 5 minutes after the call.

Infants are classed as 11kgs or under. If they are over this weight, they will be classed as a child due to infant seatbelt weight limit restrictions. They will have to be charged a child price on the day if weights and are over the 11kg limit.

Milford Sound

You will partake in a weather check an hour before the departure flight time. Flights are subject to weather conditions, if the weather is suitable you will be picked up from your hotel approximately 5-minutes after the call. You can opt to self-drive to the hangar as well if you’d like. Once checked in at the office you will depart on one of the aircrafts where everyone gets a window seat. The flight is a 40-minute scenic flight with majestic views of the mountains, lakes and fiords of the Fiordland National Park.

Upon reaching Milford Sound you will be taken to meet the boat cruise, a two hour full length cruise of Milford Sound. If you order our Picnic Lunch option you will be given this as you board the boat.

We had a brilliant scenic flight and cruise in Milford Sound. Our pilot, Jared put everyone at ease and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Everything was smooth from start to finish with barely any waiting times. The views are extraordinary and it really was a once in a lifetime trip.

Great trip with Milford Sound Scenic Flights thanks to pilots Mike on the way there are Ryan on the way back for smooth flights. Incredible scenery, mountain and lake views, and fortunate to have really good weather. Great boat trip on the Pride of Milford, stayed in the top deck the entire trip, good commentary with closeup views of the waterfalls and the Stirling falls

We took the Milford Sound Scenic flight on Nov 22nd. Our pilot Luke did a wonderful job communicating with our group. The views were breathtaking. We were very happy with the decision to spend the extra money and fly to Milford Sound.

Jake and Luke were easygoing and great on and off the plane. They make sure to take a picture of you at one point, so that you don't have to rely on selfies alone. The flight there has such gorgeous views of snow-capped mountains, forest trees, and rocky beaches. The cruise itself is awesome. I was lucky enough to see dolphins and penguins and even a seal. The waterfalls are just wonderful. And the captain of our boat is really eagle-eyed, so the boat will stop and give you the opportunity to see what a professional sees in terms of wildlife. I wouldn't have a seen one of the penguins without help from the captain's over-the-radio instructions. One of the most unmissable things I did in New Zealand.

Beautiful, unmissable. Seeing how beautiful some parts of the world is was life changing , I would absolutely recommend this experience. Our pilot Mike was wonderful also and my daughter got to be his co pilot which was amazing!

Great service, absolutely beautiful scenery and we were blessed with a fine day with very blue skies. It was more expensive than the bus but worth it and saved several hours sitting on a bus. There and back before the bus crowds arrived at Milford Sound and before the wind came up. We saw a seal, penguins and had dolphins following us in the wake of the boat.

Absolutely stunning! Plan to bring a battery pack for your cell phone photos as you will run out of juice after the first fly over! There are no charging ports around on boat or elsewhere. We were blessed with perfect weather and took so many breathtaking videos! Staff was excellent both on boat and plane. Can't say enough about how great this was all around.
