You will be received at your pickup location and drive for about 25 minutes to get to the Monkey Jump to enjoy with the monkey for about 50 minutes then go to city and visit the umbrella street, pink street, the independence plaza and the old fort.

5.00This experience was all inclusive of a visit, to monkey maniac, a trip through downtown with photo ops and a very friendly and knowledgeable driver. The driver was easy to communicate with and on time. Highly recommend!

5.00We had a wonderful time with the monkeys! Our driver/guide was Tavares (sp?). He was fantastic. He provided us with great background info about Puerta Plata. We were impressed and very pleased with his knowledge, experience, and courteous professionalism.

5.00Our private tour operator Aneudy Tamares was amazing. Very knowledgeable of the local history and places to see. I would highly recommend this tour over the shipboard options. Super easy to find inside the port. Smaller groups are great!

5.00Amazing! 10/10 I booked this on my own (not offered through my resort) my boyfriend and I ended up being the only people on the excursion! It was like a private experience! The man who picked us up was very nice and great to talk to. The 2 young brothers at Monkey Mania were our guides, great boys! So friendly and welcoming. We had about 20 monkeys all to ourselves! The brothers even climbed a tree and picked us some fruit! After the monkeys we went into the town and it was so safe. Lots of tourist protection around. Very cool added bonus.

3.00I was disappointed that Tamera’s wasn’t there to greet us. We were not sure who we were going with. I don’t like the unknown especially in a different country. I also didn’t like that our guide spoke very little English. Juan was very nice but we learned very little about what we saw during the drive. It would’ve been nice to be able to communicate with him. That being said we enjoyed tasting the hot chocolate and taking a picture with the parrot and holding the monkeys. Then we went to umbrella street where Juan walked us around and then on to Pink St and Central Park . He also let us go back to Umbrella St and shop around. All in all Juan was very courteous , helpful and a good driver. I would recommend others to request someone who can communicate.

5.00Monkeys were cute and we liked the city. It would be extra chèvre if we could stay for lunch downtown. The guide was friendly and talked to us all the time.

5.00Wady was a great tour guide. Went above and beyond. Very thorough and attentive to every need. Made sure we got to every location we wanted to go to. Would 100% use again.
