Expand your horizons with a day trip to medieval Mont St Michel, one of France’s most iconic attractions. This magical UNESCO World Heritage island is a step out of the ordinary with its famous Gothic abbey and legendary stories. You’ll arrive after a scenic drive from Paris through the landscapes of Normandy, with a guide to brush up on your history. There’ll be plenty of time to explore the island, admire the bay views and do a little shopping. You'll have free time for lunch at Mont Saint Michel.

Coach journey from Paris to Mont-Michel is approx. 4-5 hours each way. The arrival back to Paris is planned around 9.30PM.

Time spent at Mont St-Michel is approx. 4 hours

This tour involves quite a lot of walking with steps and uphill paths so is not suitable for those with mobility difficulties

The tour takes place all year round, so dress for the weather, including appropriate shoes!

On September 20 and 21, the Mont Saint Michel Abbey will take part in the European Heritage Days. During these two days, admission to the Abbey will be free of charge and visits will be self-guided.

Long drive to the destination with limited time while there. Mont st Michel is stunning. The guide could have been clearer in her diction, it was challenging to comprehend at times. However, she addressed all our questions patiently.

It was a fabulous experience however I paid for a guided tour and the audio boxes did not work so I wasn’t able to get as much backstory as I had hoped.
