You will learn and practice assembling geometric patterning as well as techniques for laying the tiles (tesserae). Using your selected geometric template you will be guided to create your own traditional Turkish mosaic lamp!

After you attend the workshop you will take your very own artistic masterpiece with you. In this 2.5 hour class you will learn the techniques of this 500-year ancient craft.

5.00The workshop was nice and enjoyable, and the atmosphere was pleasant. We received a small kit for preparing the lantern/candle holder that we could take with us at the end. There was a big selection of mosaic tiles of different colours and shapes we could choose from. At the end, we got a cup of tea and a piece of Turkish delight (that was the best I ever had!). The staff was friendly, helpful and competent, and they did their best to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. I definitely recommend this workshop.

5.00The fun we had in such a relaxed atmosphere with great teachers and the little touches of the apple tea which was delicious and the authentic turkish delight. loved my lamp which i would highly recommend this activity for a great family or girls day out.
