We are not able to accommodate children under 7 years of age on this tour, as according to VicRoads regulations they must travel on child restraints, which are not available in our minibuses. Passengers who show up with under 7 years old kids will be refused boarding without refund.

This is a small groups tour and the vehicles are 12 seaters minibuses Toyota Hiace or similar. In case extra room is required, send us a message so we can arrange large coaches option.
If you are traveling with people, not in the same booking, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. We operate with multiple buses and can't guarantee sitting together without being informed.

5.00The tour was great. Ann was a great guide and driver. She knew some great spots to see koalas in the wild which we weren’t expecting. She was willing to be flexible with the itinerary and took us to an extra spot called mutton bird island which was the highlight. I definitely recommend this tour! The only feedback I have is that the info to contact the tour operator for keeping groups together as there are multiple buses is hidden and unclear. Fortunately Ann was kind enough to fix this for us in the morning but it was very stressful.

5.00Highly highly recommend James !!! He is so professional in terms of explaining, driving and made extra miles to search for closer kangaroos !! He has sharp eyes looking for wild koalas too ! Never felt bored in the entire trip and had lots of laughters. Thank you James !

5.00After 6 weeks in Australia, this day tour (while long) has been a highlight. I loved seeing the 12 Apostles area in person. While wildlife sightings are not guaranteed, we had exceptionally good luck in seeing several koalas, 2 echidnas, and many kangaroos including a couple with joeys. Our driver James was funny, engaging, knowledgable about current wildlife viewing locations and interested in ensuring that we got the most out of our day. We highly recommend Hit the Road tours, and especially our guide James.

5.00An amazing experience! If you get Peter as your tour guide, you are in for a treat. He’s funny and knowledgeable — an absolute legend. We visited beautiful spots with excellent views and photo opportunities. The breakfast stop was great (I loved my latte and croissant), and we also got some great recommendations for lunch. Plus, we saw both koalas and kangaroos! It is a long day, but it’s absolutely worth it — even if it rains a little.
