  We had a wonderful day viewing Mt.Fuji and the surrounding area. Ahmad, our guide, was on time, informative, attentive to our expectations and a great driver. The weather was excellent, views spectacular and we highly recommend Ahmad for your tour guide.

  This was a great day! Our guide, Rafay, communicated with us the day before the tour to confirm the time, and again upon his arrival to pick us up. (He was early and let us know he was ready whenever we were.) He was very friendly! The car was comfortable and Rafay was happy to let us spend as long as we wanted at any stop, and allowed us to customize our tour. He was also able to tell us about each stop and nice to take pictures of us whenever we wanted. We liked that he communicated with another guide about the visibility of Mt Fuji from different areas. Hi Rafay!

• A Dreadful Excursion: A Tour to Forget

  We embarked on what we hoped would be an enlightening tour, eager to explore the beauty and culture of the region. However, our experience was nothing short of disastrous. The glaring lack of professionalism and preparation revealed itself from the very start, leaving us dissatisfied and frustrated. The weather, admittedly beyond anyone's control, was never communicated effectively. We were notified less than 24 hours in advance, leaving us stranded in terms of making suitable alternative arrangements. This oversight alone set a negative tone for the day. Our guide merely functioned as a lost Uber driver, endlessly circling around, seemingly unfamiliar with the itinerary, the sights, or even basic navigation. His knowledge about each site was non-existent, and he remained inside the car, offering no information, insight, or guidance. His lack of communication and knowledge reduced our experience to a mere drive-by of significant spots, leaving us to our devices to figure out what little we could see. The itinerary advertised did not match the service provided. Instead of an organized tour, we were met with uncertainty and confusion. The guide’s inability to provide any recommendations or details at each stop was incredibly disappointing. Even something as simple as finding a place to eat was a challenge, resulting in us skipping lunch altogether. Adding to the frustration was an unexpected, last-minute driver change, leaving us with no options other than proceeding with an inadequate guide. This deception was unsettling. It feels like a bait and switch, with the possibility of being swapped 12 hours before the tour for what's essentially an Uber driver instead of a real guide. This left us with an impression that if you get the original guides, the excellent reviews are probably true, but we're left questioning reliability. Ultimately, the tour spiraled into such disarray that we requested it be cut short. By 3 PM, having only visited four sites—none of which were properly introduced or explained—we decided to abandon the futile journey. This was an embarrassing ordeal that failed to deliver on any promises made in the promotional materials. A refund is not just requested; it feels required as recompense for what was a truly underserved and disappointing experience. Future improvements in communication, guide training, and contingency planning are desperately needed to prevent other potential travelers from sharing in this regrettable experience.

  Great day out visiting sights around Mt Fuji. Our driver Ahmad contacted us the day prior to arrange pick up and was there to meet us on the day. Unfortunately the day was a bit cloudy and overcast but we still got amazing views of Mt Fuji from all our stopping points - Chureito Pagoda (fabulous view), Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine, Oshino Hakkai Springs, ropeway cable car and Lake Kawaguchiko, Oishi Park and Saiko Ilashi no sat Nemba village. Along the way we got to taste traditional Japanese foods at some of the stalls set up at these sites, and Ahmad gave us enough time at each location to soak in the views and learn more about the Japanese culture. On way back we drove through Aokigahara (Suicide) Forest and Ahmad provided us with details on the yurek ghosts. Highly recommend this tour.

  This is a totally customizable tour of the Fuji area. Our driver/guide Rafay communicated very efficiently and effectively prior to and during our tour. When the mountain was obscured by clouds Rafay suggested a change of itinerary that resulted in us seeing sights we would have otherwise neglected. Kudos to Rafay and his support team.
